Fenrir smiled. This was the reason he willingly followed Nathan. Unlike the other guy, Nathan could easily acknowledge his own shortcomings. He accepted it and wasn’t arrogant enough to ask for help.

Unlike anyone else, Nathan had at least six divine beasts who would worry about him. These divine beasts would use their wisdom and work together to help Nathan. After all, they were not his ministers, they were his true family.

“Yeah. I’ll leave it to you.” Nathan smiled back before standing up. He looked at Tamamo no Mae before saying, “I’m sorry for doing it like this, but if you don’t hate me and your will still hasn’t changed, I want to ask you one more time, Tamamo no Mae.

“Will you help me overcome my own impending doom? I might not be the best master, but I will strive to become a master that, even if you look into the future, you will find no master better than me. In exchange, I will show you the world that I envision in my mind… my own world, my family.”

Tamamo no Mae lowered her head once again. “Tamamo no Mae sees her master.”
