This roar was not an ordinary roar. It carried Xingtian’s fighting intent, which turned out to be provoking the instinct of the aliens. Those high-level aliens could resist it with their minds, but the lower-level aliens who moved mostly with instincts instantly changed their directions.

“It’s coming toward her!” Noelle raised her eyebrows.

“Xingtian. Let’s fight together!” Alavenya smiled.

Xingtian looked at her for a second before raising his battle axe. The battle axe started to glow red.

He then waved his axe horizontally as the red light flew forward, cutting a lot of aliens.

Alavenya then moved forward with a smile, heading straight to her next target, which was another warrior class alien.

More and more aliens tried to surround them, but both of them didn’t care. They just charged forward as other familiars tried to pave the way for them.

Suddenly, they heard a burst of energy from behind.

“Flamante Sword Style, Flame Curtain.”

“Demonic Sword Style, Underworld Road.”

Two flames, red and purple, traveled through the ground in a straight line, cutting every alien in its path.

“!!!” Alavenya was startled because these lines actually came from behind her and continued all the way to her next target. It was as if they were creating a wall that would block all the aliens from the sides to stand in their path.

Alavenya’s smile became bigger. Noelle finally recognized her and supported her.

Xingtian raised his battle axe again and hit the ground.

*Bam!*

The burst of energy coming from his axe hit the area in front of him, blasting all the aliens in its path. With this, there was no alien left between them and the warrior class alien.

Alavenya stomped the ground and launched herself toward the alien.

The alien swiped both claws, but Alavenya also had her own claws. Both of them exchanged multiple blows and reached a standstill, but Alavenya’s attack was nothing but a distraction.

Xingtian came from behind. With a huge roar, he swung his axe down.

“!!!” The warrior class alien hurriedly took a step back and raised both arms. The black cell had mutated its arms to be as hard as steel.

The moment his axe hit these arms, the ground underneath the warrior class alien turned into a small crater, showing Xingtian’s physical strength.

But it didn’t last long because Alavenya looped around Xingtian’s body and ripped apart the alien’s arms with her claws. Xingtian’s eyes turned bloodshot as he applied more pressure on his axe, cutting yet another warrior class alien.

With the addition of Xingtian, Alavenya’s attack had become even more ferocious. Xingtian had become the axe that could tear down everything.

Xingtian suddenly stepped forward and put his shield in front as multiple tentacles flew toward them, almost hitting Alavenya. Some tentacles seemed to be able to move freely as they looped around Xingtian.

Unfortunately for them, Xingtian let out another roar infused by his fighting intent, causing the tentacles to suddenly curve toward him.

In the end, Xingtian was a warrior that would fight for its lord. There was no way Xingtian would allow the enemy’s attack to reach his lord, even if it meant sacrificing himself.

As if telling her that he was fine, Xingtian waved his axe once again, releasing a burst of energy that blasted all the surrounding aliens, including the tentacles.

The wounds he received from the tentacles surprisingly recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye. He then charged forward to the next target. There was no need to care who stood in its way, for he was the immortal warrior.

Alavenya became even more fired up. However, she knew that she couldn’t last long. Although she planned to have Xingtian as her lifebound familiar, she didn’t have enough time or material to form the lifebound contract.

That was why her hands were breaking apart with no way of recovering unless Anubis or Raphael were here.

Still, it didn’t matter. To kill these aliens, what she currently had was more than enough.

After seeing how Alavenya and Xingtian fought, Noelle changed her strategy. “In respect for Alavenya… War, Murmur. You two will go for the side and kill as many aliens as possible. Killing the warrior class aliens alone won’t be enough to create the path after all.

“Fenrir. You and I will try to aim for another warrior class alien by ourselves.”

Fenrir smirked. “That’s what I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been told that they will be arriving in one minute, so we don’t have time. Focus on killing the warrior class aliens, I guess.”

Noelle nodded. Fenrir immediately leaped toward a warrior class he had been eyeing.

Meanwhile, Noelle scanned the area first to see if there was a warrior class alien that Alavenya wouldn’t go after. It appeared there were no aliens with big bodies. If Nathan were here, he would think it was understandable, considering their purpose was to stall them.

They had to move across the forest without being spotted by Nathan, so they couldn’t afford to bring any huge aliens, which ended up causing their own downfall.

After all, Noelle and Alavenya were much better at killing enemies at most twice their size compared to a much larger opponent.

Once she locked on to her own target, Noelle jumped forth.

She cut down one alien after another at such a speed that the aliens couldn’t join the fight or attack together.

As a result, there was nothing stopping her from reaching her target, which was a plant-like warrior class alien.

The plant-like aliens spread out their roots and branches in all directions, trying to overwhelm her with numbers to render her previous advantage ineffective.

But Noelle surpassed its expectation one more time by halting her step and gathering her strength in her sword.

She swung it down and unleashed a sword strike that traveled on the ground and went all the way toward the tree. As a result, the alien was forced to block with whatever it had left, resulting in several branches and roots getting cut.

But what was more shocking was that the alien noticed that it couldn’t regenerate those parts, as the flame that remained scorched any parts that were just about to regenerate.

It was all due to a single blade on Noelle’s hand.
