"Take me with you.
I wish to participate in the next War."
Vulpiana spoke with a determined look on her face.
She had given a lot of thought into this and had considered every possibility, even the possibility of her dying, but even then, she wanted to participate.
She was prepared to face everything.
"You are too weak, you will die."
Completely disregarding her determination, Aisha spoke as she waved her hand continuously.
"Then make me a Divine."
Vulpiana, of course, didn’t give in and demanded.
"Huh?"Aisha raised her eyebrows.
"Doesn’t Nux have the ability to turn me into a Divine Stage Cultivator?"
Vulpiana countered, and hearing those words, Aisha glanced at Eisheth. The previous Queen, however, just smiled back.
Vulpiana then turned towards Eisheth and,
"Didn’t you say he would come anytime you want him to? Call him now, I wish to see him."
"I didn’t know you had such a dominant side~"
Eisheth chuckled.
"Call him."
Vulpiana demanded, but,
"Did you not hear what I said? He is busy right now."
Hearing those words, Vulpiana, who was staring at Eisheth, didn’t even turn towards Aisha and remarked sarcastically,
"And I thought he was never too busy to see his wives."
"You are not his wife."
Aisha didn’t back down either.
"She is one."
Vulpiana replied as she pointed at Eisheth.
"Or are you saying you do not wish to see him?"
The fox’s lips rose up in a mocking manner.
Her tricks, however, were useless in front of the previous Queen.
Eisheth was on a completely different wavelength.
"See? I told you she is quite good. Doesn’t her intensity match Amaya’s?"
Eisheth spoke as she turned towards her daughter.
"You think that’s comparable to that woman…?"
Aisha couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
"Mother, you haven’t seen half of it.
When that woman gets desperate…"
Aisha thought about it, and her spine felt weak momentarily,
"Well, let’s just say she gets quite dangerous…
Even Vyriana and Astaria avoid her during those moments. You should do that too, okay?"
The daughter was looking out for her mother.
"Is that so…?"
Eisheth was taken aback. Soon, however, she nodded in realization.
"Yes, she was a messed-up woman even back then."
Eisheth had once taken a slight glimpse into the women’s heads the first time she met them.
Even if she didn’t read their memories, that little glimpse was enough for her to know what she needed.
"For such a woman to have all that power… it is quite dangerous indeed."
Eisheth commented, understanding what her daughter was trying to say.
Yes, the mother and daughter had started judging their husband’s wife, completely ignoring the Fox who stood right next to them, trying to get their attention.
In the end, Vulpiana burst out.
"This is why I say I never understand you, Eisheth!
You were a Queen! A Queen! And to think you have turned into… this!
It is shameful!
It is as if you no longer have any ambition! You just stay back in this jail while you wait for your ’husband’ to return every once in a while and give you attention! You cannot even call him when you want to!
Even Lyriana, who isn’t even his wife, has already gotten so much more powerful than before now that she is with him, but you are just… a waste!"
At those words, Aisha’s expression changed.
"Whatever she has ’turned into,’ she is much better than an incompetent spy."
She spoke.
This time, there were no traces of amusement in her tone.
"I can only imagine how brazen one needs to be to let out her frustration on the only woman who bothers to talk to you.
Why don’t you go and confront that mother of yours!?"
Aisha shouted.
"Aisha…"
Eisheth called out.
Aisha, however, turned towards her mother and,
"Please, Mother. Let me say it."
"A bunch of incompetent people who couldn’t even protect their own race, and the race’s leader resorts to sending her daughter somewhere else to try and protect her."
Aisha then glared at Vulpiana and,
"And now the daughter tries to act like this in front of people trying to protect her.
Pathetic."
"…"
Vulpiana turned silent.
Her body trembled as she clenched her fists.
Aisha, on the other hand, just snorted.
She wanted to take her mother and go away in order to let this woman rot alone, but then,
"Hmm? What’s with the strange environment? Did something happen?"
Nux, who walked out of a portal, questioned with a strange look on his face. Of course, as confused as he was, he didn’t forget to appear next to Eisheth and embrace the previous Queen like it was his birthright.
Feeling Eisheth’s soft body all over him filled him with a strong sense of warmth and comfort.
"You are back."
Eisheth spoke in a light tone, a smile automatically appearing on her face.
"Of course, I came back early because I missed you."
"I don’t sense it…?"
Eisheth frowned.
But then,
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
The Universe trembled in anger.
It had lost another one of its Worlds.
"Do you sense it now?"
Nux chuckled as he pulled Eisheth even closer, sniffing her scent.
Eisheth’s body squirmed, she arched her back, rubbing her butt on Nux’s crotch, trying to tempt him.
Aisha, who saw her mother instantly forgetting everything that just happened, sighed.
Then,
"Nux! I am here too!"
She jumped on Nux.
She wanted another session together with her mother!
Nux, of course, could never deny his wives and opened his arm for Aisha to jump in.
But then suddenly,
"Nux."
Vulpiana called out.
Her golden eyes stared at the man with determination.
"Make me a Divine Stage Cultivator.
I promise I will not disappoint you."
"Hmm?"
Nux tilted his head for a moment.
Then, he nodded.
"Alright, I hope you keep your promise."
"What…?"
Vulpiana widened her eyes in disbelief.
"What?"
Nux frowned.
"Are you… agreeing?"
"Yeah? Should I not?"
"That easily…?"
Vulpiana couldn’t believe it.
Nux, on the other hand, grinned evilly.
"Were you expecting me to demand something in return?
What are you willing to do, Vulpiana Dawnshade?"
