“Are you alright, Shana?!” Tristan’s worried voice reached the young lady’s ears as soon as she accepted her father’s call from her communicator.
“I’m fine,” Shana replied. “I’m more worried about Zion. He’s also running away from the Azothralls.”
“Is he?” Tristan frowned. “I already mobilized fighter jets to fight your pursuers. Do you see them right now?”
“Yes,” Shana answered as she gazed in the distance, where over a dozen fighter planes were flying in a formation. “Tell them the monster carrying me is an ally. He is one of Zion’s subordinates.”
Tristan nodded and immediately passed his order.
The planes then flew past Zed and circled around to head to the location where Zion was fighting against the Azothralls.
Each fighter plane was equipped with missiles meant to annihilate Rank 7 Sovereigns.
They were made up of extremely rare materials, which they only planned to use against the powerhouses that belonged to the Jinn Armies.
Since the missiles were limited, they were only ordered to sortie during emergencies.
Thirteen’s location was being broadcast by Athena and relayed to the servers of the Central Government.
The teenage boy wasn’t taking any chances, and if the Central Government could provide him with cover fire, it would be more beneficial to him.
“Father, the Azothralls are targeting me, so I need to hide for a while,” Shana said. “Don’t worry. I know of a place where they couldn’t find me, and I assure you, I’ll be safe there.”
Tristan nodded. The earlier incident had proven that Casimir City wasn’t as safe as they assumed. After all, the enemy successfully infiltrated past their defenses without being detected by their instruments.
This meant that Shana would only put herself in danger if she returned, and Tristan wouldn’t want that to happen.
“I’ll keep in touch,” Tristan replied. “For now, be safe. Also, please tell the Jinns who rescued you that I said thanks. If there is an opportunity to repay the favor, all they need to do is ask.”
Shana nodded and ended the call.
Meanwhile, Zed, who had listened to the entire conversation, finally spoke.
“Mistress, please go to the Domain of the Apocalypse,” Zed said. “You’ll be safe there.”
“Understood.” Shana nodded and activated the ring of the apocalypse, creating a portal that would send her to safety.
Upon entering the domain, Shana immediately found Zion’s monster army paying close attention to the projection in front of them.
Camazotz, Kamrusepa, and Paimon were also present, and all of them had solemn expressions.
Clearly, this wasn’t an ideal scenario for Zion. Even his three most powerful allies were paying close attention to the battle in real time.
They gave Shana a brief glance of acknowledgment before shifting their gaze back to the projection.
Metatron sat on his throne and swirled a wine glass in his hand, making sure to enjoy the show in front of him.
As the minutes passed by, Rocky’s limit was also nearing its end.
The Azothralls didn’t move from their encirclement as if they knew that Rocky was currently on borrowed time.
The rest of the Azothralls had yet to make an appearance, especially the golden one that was their leader.
Thirteen sighed internally. He believed that somewhere out there, the golden Azothrall was paying close attention to the battle with no plan to show itself until it was certain that there were no signs of danger.
‘As expected,’ Thirteen thought. ‘Their leader knows what it’s doing.’
Five more minutes passed, and the teenage boy finally ordered Rocky to surface above ground.
The sudden movement was followed closely by the Azothralls, but only four of them rose to follow their prey.
Rocky finally returned to its original form and took a fighting stance.
The four Azothralls encircled the Hellfire Bal-Boa and screeched at it in anger.
Rocky roared in retaliation as if daring its opponents to attack.
Unfortunately, the Azothralls didn’t hold back and lunged at the Hellfire Bal-Boa, and a fierce battle began.
But Thirteen and Rocky weren’t alone.
“Come!” Thirteen ordered.
Immediately, a portal appeared beside Rocky, and Thirteen’s heavy hitters joined the battle.
Khan, Harahon, Zed, and Lord Zorca had entered the scene.
Three Rank 8 Sovereigns and one Rank 7 Sovereign joined Zion’s side in battle.
Prince Zorren and Prince Xylen watched the battle from a distance before glancing at each other.
“Let’s go!” Prince Zorren said.
“Okay!” Prince Xylen nodded.
The two Princes joined the fray, which tilted the battle in Zion’s favor.
However, the Azothralls had an uncanny regeneration ability. Whenever parts of their body were severed, they would always regenerate within half a minute.
The only way to kill them was to sever their heads completely or vaporize their bodies in an instant.
However, targeting their heads wasn’t an easy task because the Azothralls were very cunning.
They would rather lose a limb or two in order to protect their heads, escaping any killing blow.
Suddenly, a deep rumbling sound reverberated from the sky as the fighter jets of the army arrived at the scene.
Thirteen who had the ability to give an order to the entire Allied Army immediately sent a message to the pilots of their fighter planes.
“Now!” Thirteen ordered.
As soon as he gave the signal, Rocky wrapped its tail on one of the Azothralls and tossed it to the sky.
“Target locked on!” one of the pilots said before pulling the trigger to unleash the missile that it was carrying.
The Azothrall that had been tossed suddenly grew wings behind its back, allowing it to narrowly escape the missile that flew past it.
The other pilots unleashed a barrage of Vulcan cannons, making the Azothrall scream in pain.
However, its body was able to withstand the special ammunition and engaged the fighter planes in a dogfight.
While this was happening, the five Azothralls that had remained underground finally joined the battle and latched onto Rocky.
Without hesitation, they clawed the Hellfire Bal-Boa’s body, trying to tear it apart, their assault drawing a roar of pain from it.
Giga, Blacky, Hercules, Drazzat, O1, O2, and the Trolls wanted to go out and join the battle, but Zion forbade them.
This battle was a battle of true powerhouses, and he couldn’t allow any of them to risk their lives at this point in time.
One mistake, and Zion would once again lose one of his comrades who had sacrificed themselves in the battle against Arundel the Destroyer.
He didn’t want to experience it again, so he asked Rocky to hold on for as long as it could while Athena calibrated its final strike to finish off the Azothralls that had appeared to torment his comrade.
