Within the underground headquarters of the Artemians…
A sharp shatter rang out across Lucan’s private chambers.
The life pod’s glass exploded outward, and from it emerged a naked Lucan, his face contorted in anger.
“Damn it!” Lucan cursed. “Damn it all!”
Zia had successfully killed him, not even leaving his ashes behind.
However, the Artemian Commander had already prepared a contingency plan.
Before crossing over Pangea, the Artemian King had created a near-perfect clone of the Artemian Commander.
However, this Lucan and the one Zia had killed were completely different from each other.
The clone only had a fraction of the original body’s soul, so the rank of this Lucan was only that of a Master.
He was Lucan, but different at the same time.
This was similar to a person with multiple personalities.
Although they shared the same body, they had different mentalities and beliefs.
With his current Rank, Lucan knew that it would be hard to rein in the Artemian Army under his command.
The ministers whom he had brought along were also sly foxes and would definitely jump at the opportunity of being the next Commander of the Artemian Army.
They had yet to learn about Lucan’s death, but it was certainly only a matter of time before the news reached their ears.
Not to mention, if they discovered this weak version of Lucan, they would not hesitate to eliminate him, so their rule would no longer be threatened!
“Azoh’Ran, come!” Lucan ordered.
As another contingency plan, he had asked the Artemian King to bind one of the Golden Azothralls under him.
Regardless of what happened, this Golden Azothrall would obey him and only him!
The Golden Azothrall that had been left to protect the headquarters appeared inside Lucan’s private chambers and knelt before its Master.
“Take me away from here,” Lucan ordered. “Take me somewhere safe, now!”
“Yes, Master,” Azoh’Ran ordered.
The Golden Azothrall then wrapped Lucan in a cocoon before leaving the Headquarters secretly.
———
In the Northern Battlefield where Zia had fought against Lucan…
In a small crater within the giant crater Zia’s strongest attack had carved, the young beauty lay inside, unable to move.
She had overexerted herself and had fallen into a coma.
Prince Aurelion, who finally found the courage to investigate, saw the devastation in his surroundings.
He then spotted the Princess, who was lying unconscious on the ground, and came to her rescue.
But before he could pick her up, a shadow loomed over him and stopped him in his tracks.
“Sorry, but I’ll be taking her with me.”
The Death Bat, Camazotz, had finally arrived at the scene after he was contacted by Athena.
From the southern edge of the continent, the Majin Prince had traveled at full speed to the north, arriving just in time to stop Prince Aurelion from seizing the helpless young woman whose beauty had sparked the war between the Jinns and the Artemians.
“Who are you?” Prince Aurelion vaguely felt that the Death Bat in front of him was a Majin Prince, just like him.
However, he could also tell that the newcomer was stronger than him, so he didn’t dare to act arrogantly in front of the Death Bat.
“My name is of no concern to you,” Camazotz replied before picking up Zia in a princess carry. “All you need to know is that this girl is too good for you.”
After saying those words, Camazotz flew away.
He planned to look for Tiona, who was severely injured after her battle against Lucan.
Prince Aurelion clenched his fists as he looked in the direction to which the Death Bat had flown.
Until now, he wasn’t aware that there was another Majin Prince in the continent aside from him and his entourage.
———
When Tiona saw Camazotz, who was holding her Master in his arms, the snake lady was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.
She was seriously injured, and ordinary potions would not be able to cure her. As such, she would need to enter a state of hibernation once again.
But this time, while she was unconscious, she would not part with her Master, no matter what.
Tiona transformed into her original form and coiled herself around Zion’s arm.
A few seconds later, she turned into a black snake bracelet, which couldn’t be removed using normal means unless Thirteen’s arm was completely cut off from his body.
“You’re so lucky, Thirteen,” Camazotz muttered before flying in Rocky’s direction.
The Hellfire Bal-Boa had suffered serious injuries as well and was currently unable to move.
The Monster Army inside its Mobile Fortress had all come out to protect it while it was in a vulnerable state.
Giga, Blacky, Hercules, the Trolls, and Ogres were very worried about their Master, Thirteen.
But they also understood that they were no match against their opponents and that if they went, it would only make their Master heartbroken after they died.
Tiona had also asked them to stay and protect Rocky while she pursued their Master, so they simply obeyed. Unlike the others, she was safe from dying due to her near-immortality, so she was the only one allowed to go.
“Okay, calm down, everyone,” Camazotz said helplessly because Giga and the others immediately hugged him after he arrived.
They saw that their Master and Tiona were safe, so they finally felt relieved. Giga even kissed Camazotz, which made the Death Bat shudder.
However, since Camazotz treated Zion’s monster army as his little brothers, and Cranky his Big Brother, he endured Giga’s and the others’ show of gratitude until they all calmed down.
“Can you move, Rocky?” Camazotz asked. “I cannot carry you with me since my hands are already full.”
Rocky gave a low growl, which made Camazotz sigh.
The Hellfire Bal-boa was already using everything in its power to barely stay awake, so moving was not an option.
“Fine, I’ll take care of Zion for the time being,” Camazotz stated. “You go underground and do your best to recover.”
The Death Bat then stared at Giga and the others and asked them what they wanted to do.
The monster army huddled together for a short discussion.
“We decided to protect Rocky for the time being,” declared Pica, serving as the spokesperson for everyone.
“The Mobile Fortress is important to Master,” Pico commented. “It must be protected at all costs!”
Giga and the others all nodded in agreement since this was truly what they believed in.
“Very well.” Camazotz looked at the pitiful Hellfire Bal-Boa. “You protect Rocky. I’ll protect your Master.”
After confirming everyone’s determination, Rocky put everyone back inside its Mobile Fortress with great effort.
It then burrowed into the ground to head to the river of magma under the continent to recover.
Camazotz knew that Rocky would not be able to recover in a short period of time, which would make the Mobile Fortress inaccessible to Zia for the time being.
‘This continent is too chaotic,’ Camazotz thought. ‘But you sure are something, Thirteen.’
During his travel towards the north, Camazotz had sensed a power that made it feel as if a Celestial or a Fiend had descended into Pangea.
Although this happening was next to impossible, that was what he felt at that time.
The Death Bat was also affected by such power, slowing his speed considerably as he headed to the north.
Holding the unconscious young lady in his arms reminded Camazotz of the great battle against the Ancient Eight-Headed Serpent in Solterra.
Back then, Thirteen had fought against the Majin King using a golden staff, which could increase its length and size to gigantic proportions.
While he didn’t see that weapon during this battle, he saw something else.
And frankly, Camazotz felt that the power that Zia had unleashed was very similar to the one he had used to defeat the Ancient Eight-Headed Serpent on his own.
‘I’m just glad we’re on the same side right now,’ Camazotz mused before flapping his wings to fly to the sky.
His original plan was to bring Zion back to Casimir City, but he halted mid-flight, eyes drawn to the massive Wren gliding above the storm clouds that were gradually dispersing.
Stella and Siri, who had also traveled far to help Zion, looked at Camazotz calmly.
“Can I hitch a ride?” Camazotz asked.
He was already familiar with the two girls since Thirteen had also introduced them to him.
“Of course,” Stella answered and gestured for Camazotz to land on the giant Wren’s back.
Truth be told, he was a little tired after traveling at full speed and fighting the strong urge to flee as that great power descended upon the land.
Siri looked at the unconscious Zia in Camazotz’s arm. She had the strong urge to poke Zion’s cheek. They belatedly found out that the teenage boy had transformed into a girl because she and Stella had been busy handling a few tasks in the continent.
Stella was also looking at the young lady, trying to look as calm as possible.
She could see Zia’s body shining in the different colors of the rainbow, which was something that she was seeing for the first time.
This color then expanded to their surroundings, which gave color to Siri, Camazotz, and the giant Wren, Aethon.
But it didn’t stop there.
The colors expanded outwards, painting Stella’s colorless world.
The hills, the trees, the sky, the clouds, everything in her surroundings suddenly had colors.
A tear escaped the young lady’s eyes because it had been several years since she saw a beautiful scenery with colors.
And it was all thanks to the unconscious young lady, whose divine powers were affecting her surroundings, giving color to Stella’s World that had lost it long ago.
