Skipping time couldn’t be done casually, for the payment was one’s own time.

For example, when Thirteen used the Skip God’s power to immediately build the robots that were meant for the Apoc Rangers, it shaved off two weeks of his lifespan.

Of course, there was one time when his lovers wanted to make love to him. But at the time, Zion had important things to do.

Not wanting to deny his lovers, he used the power of the Skip God, which ended with his lovers lying on the bed unconscious, overwhelmed by pleasure.

This act cost Thirteen only two hours of his life, which he thought was a fair deal.

Simply put, he was using borrowed time, and time must be paid in full.

The Skip God, who was fishing in the sea of clouds, glanced at Thirteen before shifting his gaze to the Monkey King.

“Wukong, are you going to tell him what happened?” the Skip God asked in a serious tone.

“I plan to tell him,” Sun Wukong replied. “Thirteen must know, so he can prepare countermeasures in the future.”

Hearing the Monkey King’s reply, the teenage boy knew that Sun Wukong didn’t bring him to the Celestial Realm just for some monkey business.

When his First Host told him that the System God had tried to descend into Pangea during the time when Zed was running away from the Azothralls, the teenage boy’s expression turned serious.

Clearly, this was something that violated the rules of the world, and by doing so, the System God would have to pay a price for his transgression.

It was cause and effect.

Every effect had a cause, and every cause would produce an effect.

In simpler terms, it meant that everything you do, say, or think sets something else into motion.

And for Divine Beings, especially those who descended in a world they didn’t have any jurisdiction without permission, a price must be paid or they would receive karma.

This Karma could make them weaker or put restrictions to what they could do.

The System God was a very calculative God, so he took a calculated risk.

While he might have to suffer a bit due to his transgressions, it would probably last for a year or two at most.

After that, he would regain his full powers.

For Gods, a year or two was similar to taking a nap.

It wasn’t a big deal for them.

Also, Deus Ex Machina descended on Pangea when the veil that protected it was at its weakest.

This meant that to a certain extent, this was part of the law, allowing any beings to enter the world, whether they were good or bad.

If not for that, the System God wouldn’t have taken a risk.

Although he didn’t manage to capture Thirteen, he wouldn’t be punished too severely by the law of cause and effect.

“Thank you, Wukong,” Thirteen said after hearing everything. “It’s thanks to you that I can remain in Pangea.”

The Monkey King chuckled as he patted the teenage boy’s shoulder.

“We’re practically family,” Sun Wukong stated. “Don’t worry, I got your back little bro!”

“… Like I said, I’m older than you by a few days.”

“It’s just a few days!”

Thirteen sighed but no longer argued with the Monkey King, who had gone out of his way to prevent the System God from capturing him.

“Well, then. Now that the troublesome part is over, it’s time to party!” Lily shouted as the party poppers in her hands exploded, showering Thirteen in confetti.

“Ah, man… I wish Dim Dim is here,” Cupid said. “He likes to party very much.”

“Well, he is busy right now,” Lily commented, her tone regretful as she also missed the little bun whom she and Cupid treated like family.

However, that didn’t stop her from snapping her fingers and summoning a table filled with food, mainly with sweet things like cakes, candies, and other desserts.

“Eat up, Thirteen!” Lily said while swinging Thirteen’s right arm side to side. “It will probably be a while before we have the chance to meet again.”

“I’m not really a fan of sweet things,” Thirteen said.

However, he still reached out to take a chocolate muffin from the table and took a bite.

Seeing that the System of Cannon Fodders was eating the muffins she personally baked, the little Goddess couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.

“Now try this cake!” Lily took a slice of cake, and placed it in a small saucer.

She then handed it to the teenage boy, who reluctantly took a bite.

However, after eating the cake halfway, Thirteen saw two little hands peeking out from the table that was filled with desserts.

These two hands expertly grabbed a macaron and a custard bun before disappearing completely.

A few seconds later, the Gods and the teenage boy heard muffled voices from under the table.

“This macaron tastes great!”

“Cinnamon thinks that this custard bun is also good. It’s not too sweet!”

“Hehehe! We’re really smart! No one will know that we are here if we hide under the table!”

“Cinnamon thinks that this idea is also good!”

Lily and Cupid blinked at the same time, while Sun Wukong did a face palm.

The Skip God only smiled faintly and pretended to not hear anything.

Thirteen, on the other hand, watched as the two hands returned to grab more snacks on the table.

Cupid flew in front of Thirteen and covered his eyes with both of his hands.

“Haha…ha, I think you’re tired, Thirteen,” Cupid said while laughing anxiously. “I’m good at giving people a head massage. Do you want one?”

“If it’s a head massage, why are you covering my eyes?” Thirteen asked back in amusement.

While this was happening, Lily hurriedly grabbed the two gluttons from under the table and took them away.

However, the twins managed to grab two platters of food before that happened, feeling proud of their accomplishments.

A minute later, Lily returned and gave Cupid the signal that everything was already dealt with.

“Hahaha! Now, let’s continue the party!” Cupid snapped his fingers, and a Karaoke machine appeared.

He then gave Thirteen the song book, so that the latter could pick a song to sing.

Although he didn’t really like singing, the teenage boy decided to cooperate with his gracious host, who was kind enough to throw him a party in the Celestial Realm, where the Temple of the Ten Thousand Gods resided.
