Just like Zion had expected, the Monarchs and the Thrones were currently having an emergency meeting.
Arthur had already informed them that Zion was Zia, and he gave the excuse that his no-good grandson had disguised himself to infiltrate Velmusa City to know more about the plans of the Jinns.
He added that this was the reason why Zion wasn’t available during the time when they had their first discussion with the Majin Prince, who was adamant about meeting him.
“Currently, Zion is unconscious, and no one knows when he will wake up,” Arthur said. “Also, we have already identified that the Majin Prince whom Prince Aurelion was referring to is none other than Camazotz.
“Since we’re already in an alliance with him, the best thing to do is to delay our answer until Zion wakes up. There is no way that we can agree to send him back to the Jinn’s Main Headquarters.”
All the Monarchs and Thrones nodded in agreement.
For them, Zion was an important military strategist, as well as a pillar of all Wanderers.
There was no way in hell that they would send him to the Lion’s Den and be at the mercy of the Dragonkin Prince.
“So does this mean that we will not temporarily ally ourselves with the Jinns?” Douglas Griffin asked.
“There’s no point in allying with them in the first place,” Wendell Elrod stated. “In the end, they are enemies that we need to defeat.”
Arthur then cleared his throat. “Everyone, I know that this might sound silly coming from me, but I will now tell you Zion’s main goal in this war.”
Everyone in the room quieted down and looked at Arthur, waiting for him to divulge to them Zion’s grand plan.
“His goal is to make the Cygni Continent a place where Jinns and Wanderers could live together in peace,” Arthur explained.
“Is that even possible?” asked the Patriarch of the Lockwood Family, Logan Lockwood.
He was one of the Thrones who ruled the Aldebaran Continent alongside the Remington Clan and the Leventis Family.
“Of course, it’s possible,” Arthur answered. “I mean, even in Solterra, there are some cities where humans and Majins live together in peace.”
As the Highest Ranking Wanderers of the human race, they had explored Solterra in their own way and discovered cities where Jinns and Humans lived together.
However, they thought that it was only possible in Solterra. After all, all the Jinns who had previously invaded their world had made it clear that their main goal was conquest.
Of course, they understood that it was mainly because they were too weak for the Jinns to even consider a dialogue with them.
Why would the strong listen to the cries of the weak?
That was the reason why the Antares and Rigel continents fell in the hands of the Jinns.
Humanity was simply too weak to protect themselves from their invasion.
But with Zion’s appearance, things had changed.
Humanity now stood a chance to win against the Jinns, albeit it was still an uphill battle.
“I’m going to share another secret that I hope that everyone in this room will not speak outside of this room,” Arthur stated. “The Princess of House Pavareth, Princess Aracelle, is now one of my grandson’s fiancee.”
“””What?!”””
The Thrones and the Monarchs all looked at Arthur in disbelief.
“Are you talking about that Princess whom Zion has captured?” Douglas asked. “The one he refused to hand over to us back then?”
“Yes,” Arthur replied. “She’s the one.”
“… I don’t know if I should be impressed by your grandson or be scared of his boldness.” Wendell sighed. “He was able to tame such a woman huh?”
Lawrence and Tristan glanced at each other, knowing there was another woman Zion had tamed aside from the princess of House Pavareth.
It was none other than the Saintess, whom many Wanderers treated as their idol.
But knowing that the time to expose this secret had not yet arrived, the two decided to keep their lips sealed for the time being.
“There is also another matter that I would like to share with everyone,” Arthur added. “Roland is in a relationship with Princess Laventia of the Velmoria Kingdom.”
“””…”””
Everyone in the room became silent because they didn’t expect that the “Hero” of the Wanderers would choose a succubus princess as his lover.
“Damn this generation of Wandereres.” Douglas chuckled. “I guess there is indeed a chance to live in harmony with them, especially the Kingdom of Velmoria.”
The other Monarchs and Thrones smiled wryly at Douglas’ intentional joke.
Since the majority of the Velmoria Kingdom’s faction were all succubi, and all of them were pretty ladies, it would not be hard for the Wanderers to consider the possibility of living together with them.
In fact, they believed that a civil war might happen if they were to oppose having the Velmoria Kingdom as their ally.
“Any other secrets that you want to share with us?” Trevor Remington asked. “Don’t tell me that Zion and Roland are not the only ones who have a deep connection with some of the Jinn Factions.”
Arthur smirked before spilling the beans.
“The Skavari and the Azrakith Court—Zion also wanted to make peace with this faction. It seems that the Skavari Prince, Prince Zorren, and the Prince of the Azrakith Court, Prince Xylen, have a good relationship with Zion.
“If ever we go to war with the Jinns, I want everyone to exclude these factions as our targets for extermination. The last time I talked to Zion, he was planning to ask these factions to migrate to Casimir City and put them under Camazotz’s protection.”
The room quieted down once more, but after a minute, Douglas spoke up.
He was the Monarch that ruled the Cygni Continent, and he treated it as his own territory. Now that the Jinns had invaded his lands, he believed that he had the right to voice out his opinion.
“Arthur, I just want to ask one thing,” Douglas said. “Can they really be trusted? I don’t mind giving them a chance, but if they were to suddenly change their minds when our people returned, wouldn’t a mass massacre happen?”
Arthur didn’t answer right away. He knew that things wouldn’t be that simple.
Even if the Jinns and Wanderers agreed to form an alliance and live together, what was stopping them from reneging on their promise?
Who would be blamed if something bad happened after this grand plan was put into motion?
