Chapter 730 v4c106 Eternity(7)
“Ah ah ah ah, sister Aloz, I was wrong, ple-please let go of me quickly......”
There was a loud boom, and suddenly the whole top of the cold hall crumbled away, only to see a huge thing with tons of snow falling from the sky which fell heavily onto the ground. Then Brendel saw Aloz leap from above and slowly walked to the pile of snow. She reached into the pile of snow and grabbed a tail from it, and then with a clattering sound, a ball of flesh was dragged out.
Then everyone saw clearly that it was a Dragon – a round Dragon, huge, almost two stories tall, but had nothing like the beautiful streamlined shape that Aloz had when she turned into a Dragon. Instead, he was like a huge spindle, with two pairs of wings like the kind Brendel had seen in the supermarket freezer in his last life. The only difference was that there were scales on them. Aloz dragged him out by the tail, his short and fat limbs flopped onto the ground, and he squealed as if it was a pig being slaughtered.
Brendel swore he could not forget such a scene in his life, because it was too stupid, in fact, in his previous life he had never seen the true side of this Dragon. After all, this guy was too sinister, players were knocked out even before seeing him, just like Arreck’s noble private soldiers buried under the ice.
The others, Shido and Haruz, had their eyes wide open. They could hardly believe what they saw and felt their worldview turn upside down.
Laying a tiny paw on his head, Shitah cried out tearfully, “Let go of me, Sister Aloz, it’s so humiliating.”
His voice rumbled through the cave, but it was hard for onlookers to believe that such an imposing roar was a plea for mercy.
“You know shame too, Dragon God above, look what you’ve done to your lair! You placed traps in your lair! the Dragon’s face is disgraced by you!” Aloz coldly grunted, raised her small fist, and smashed it on Shitah. Her pink fist looked weak, but her one punch sent Shitah flying across the room like a meteorite. The loud ‘boom’ made the imperfect wall in the middle of the hall crumble into pieces.
All the Kirrlutzian nobles who saw this scene felt their hearts palpitating tremendously while those who had offended Aloz before felt a chill down their spine, and almost everyone was thinking: Oh my God, this little girl is extremely violent.
Aloz was indeed super violent. She was so mad she seemed to have gone crazy as she beat up this fleshy ball of Dragon. Of course, this beating was scaled to a Dragon’s level. If anyone were to receive this amount of beating, even Veronica would have been smashed into meat juice.
The beating lasted for half an hour before Aloz came to meet Brendel with a bruised and battered Shitah. As Brendel had expected, Shitah was a fat little man in human form, but in an elven figure. Elves who were keen on the pursuit of beautiful things would probably want to stab him with their swords if they ever saw him.
“I know you, human, my sister and I have talked about you and she said the lady boss has a crush on you-” Shitahsaid in a jarring voice, but before he could finish his sentence, Aloz grabbed him by the wrist and slammed him onto the ice surface. She threw the little fat man onto the ground then brushed her hands as if she had dropped a bag of flour. She looked up and replied, “His sister is Frofa, that is, my life partner. You should have seen her, you stole her earrings, you should remember.”
Brendel knew that the Golden Folks were asexual and that Dragon mates were in fact allies in some sense, but what the hell was this blabbermouth talking about, and what did she mean by stealing Frofa’s earrings? He looked back and saw Veronica and her group looking at him oddly. A man stealing a lady’s earrings? What kind of behavior is that? Especially when the lady was a Dragon.
The men’s eyes were full of admiration, while the women present, well, they looked at him with some confusion. “You’re amazing, Mr. Brendel.” Shido exclaimed heartily, “Earrings are very important things for Dragons. Legend has it that Tiamat and Bahamut were once a pair of twins, and Marsha gave them two earrings each, one called Order and one called Destruction, but since the chronicles of Chaos, the separated earrings have been given as a symbol of love, and I don’t know if this saying is only passed down in human time, but I didn’t expect that the Lord has personally taken action to verify it, for scholars, the unity of knowledge and action is very important.”
Brendel who was listening wanted to just shut her mouth up, but Aloz had a playful smile on her face. She reached out and caressed Shido’s cheek and praised, “Little girl, you said it very well.”
“Is this, a praise ......?” Shido was slightly stunned and blushed a little, she knew the custom among the Dragons that it was a sign of approval for the older one to place their hands on the younger one’s face. Of course, in a sense, Aloz was indeed much older than her.
“That’s right, you’re smart.” Aloz nodded, “This is the friendship I offer you.”
All the Kirrlutzian nobles present were jealous when they heard this, and Brendel could not help but feel a little envious too. The friendship of the Dragons was just like the friendship of the Silver Elves, it had a statute of limitations, generally for a mortal’s lifetime, and a limit on the number of times it could be given, generally once.
But it meant that the Dragon will help a mortal fulfill a wish as long as it was within its ability and preference to do so.
Shido was still staring into blank space when Veronica tapped her shoulder. Shido was brought out to be trained, and Veronica liked this young girl. The Empire was also unanimous in its opinion of her as the next heir to the royal library and an important core figure in the future Blood Cross. Of course, the main reason was because of the importance the Bugas placed on her.
Veronica, however, liked her out of simple affection for her junior. Faina was too willful and the Prime Minister’s daughter was too paranoid, especially the latter, who she had felt stifled ever since she learned what the other had done in Brendel’s domain, but had to send the latter back to the Empire. No one knew better than Veronica about Brendel’s status in Aouine at this moment. Among the nobles of the Empire, she was the only one who understood Brendel’s other identity in the Loop of Trade Winds and his relationship with the Silver Folk.
Aouine was no longer the original Aouine. After having Valhalla, it had been destined to rise as a new empire, and sometimes Veronica felt that Brendel could vaguely see the Flame King Gretel, or Erik, the Aouines’ Lionheart King.
Therefore she was very optimistic about Shido. Shido was innocent and kind, who was far more suitable than Faina and the other Prime Minister’s daughter to act as a link between Kirrlutz and Aouine.
It was a pity that no one else thought as far ahead as she did, and most people probably could not understand her thoughts, so Veronica could only hide some of her arrangements for the time being.
However, at least everything that had happened up until now had proven her choice to be correct, and it seemed to her that everyone around this interesting little guy was really something, not only did he maintain close ties with the Silver Folks, but he also had the Dragons’ favor.
And Shido benefited from it almost immediately, at least whether she had a wish to fulfill or not, the friendship of the Dragons would have a profound effect on her life. As long as this news spread back to the Empire, her qualifications as a future important member in the Blood Cross might make her eligible for the next president of the Blood Cross.
But Brendel interrupted the conversation between the two, as he knew that he must not let this discussion continue. This little female Dragon was intended to see him make fun of himself, as she knew that he obtained the earring unintentionally. He suddenly remembered something and asked, “Wait, Frofa is his sister, the lady boss he was referring to was......”
Brendel was halfway through his words when he suddenly saw Aloz’s golden eyes blazing. His heart shivered and the little female Dragon bared her white teeth. Brendel realized that he better not continue the question.
But he had some subtle feelings in his mind and could not help but give Aloz an odd look.
“What are you looking at?” Aloz glared at him and grunted coldly, “Do I have flowers on my face?”
“No.” Brendel hastily shook his head jokingly. Annoying this little female Dragon would not be ideal. Shitah was still lying on the ground with a bruised face. Aloz was a Dragon, after all, born with the strength of Gold. And in fact, the pure muscle strength after the Elemental Activation was close to the level of the perfect physique. If the little female Dragon intended to deal with him seriously, it was estimated that he would be torn into pieces in just minutes.
“Hm, you don’t have to be surprised, as I said, I still have a good feeling about you. Even as a backup mating candidate, it’s not out of the question.” Aloz blushed and continued.
But these words were a little too pugnacious, Shido who heard it was dumbfounded, while Scarlet was not sure of what to do, Veronica smilingly looked at the ‘young couple’. As for the other Kirrlutzian nobles, looking into Brendel’s eyes had been equivalent to looking at a Dragon.
They may not be so surprised to see a Dragon at this time. Some of the bolder knights of the Folded Sword Squad had even given a thumbs up to Brendel.
“No one will think you’re dumb if you shut up.” Brendel could not help but grit his teeth and replied.
Aloz glanced at him and said, “Who allowed you to talk to me in such a tone? But forget it, I don’t wanna get stuck on this matter with you-”
After saying that she turned around and left, and disappeared outside the hall in a blink of an eye.
“Mr. Brendel......” Shido was stunned, she managed to utter a word, “You......”
“You don’t have to say anything, it’s all a misunderstanding.” Brendel knew in his heart that he had been played by this little female Dragon again.
