Chapter 99: Shyness (1)

Ye Sui’s jealous behavior was the same as Chen Shu before. But in his opinion, she cared about her appearance.

He smiled faintly, his mouth curled up, and he couldn’t help saying, “I like the way you are jealous.”

Initially, Ye Sui didn’t know how to express her feelings, but Chen Shu suddenly spoke these words, making her feel embarrassed.

In order to hide her shyness, Ye Sui lifted the hat on Chen Shu’s head. “It’s almost time. Go and take off your makeup.”

While saying this, she had other ideas in her mind. Next time, she would have to thicken Chen Shu’s eyebrows, darken his complexion, and then adjust the other facial features. The rougher she made them, the better.

As soon as Ye Sui finished speaking, Chen Shu’s eyes lit up. “You help me.”

Ye Sui covered her leg. “My leg hurts. Take it off yourself.”

Chen Shu knew better than Ye Sui herself about her wound, yet he did not reveal her lie. However, a deep meaning appeared in his eyes.

“Then I will hold you, and you will take it off for me.”

Ye Sui asked Chen Shu to go to the room and get the cleansing oil, but Chen Shu didn’t know anything about this kind of thing. Finally, he took her to the bedroom and found out which bottle cleansing oil was.

Chen Shu then pushed Ye Sui into the bathroom.

“Hold your head down.” Ye Sui took her own hairband, which Xiao Liu had given to her before, with a pair of ears on it.

Chen Shu said with a dilemma, “This... shouldn’t be needed.”

Chen Shu had never brought such a cute thing, and he was inevitably a bit resistant. But Ye Sui did not give him a chance to refuse.

“By the time your hair is wet, don’t blame me.” Ye Sui pretended to sigh and slowly put the hairband aside. “Forget it, I won’t force you if you don’t like it.”

Ye Sui had barely finished speaking when Chen Shu immediately responded, “Put it.”

Ye Sui’s hairband was still held in her hand, and she quickly turned sideways upon hearing these words, moving like lightning.

Chen Shu had seen through Ye Sui’s small acts, but he also pampered her.

Ye Sui looked at Chen Shu as if he was going to the execution ground, laughing and putting her hairband on his head.

Unexpectedly, Chen Shu had an extra pair of ears, which were quite cute. Ye Sui pointed to the mirror. “Look, isn’t it very good?”

Chen Shu lifelessly glanced at the mirror, nodded without spirit, then obediently lowered his head to let Ye Sui remove his makeup.

He had no idea, so Ye Sui taught him hand in hand. She wiped the cleansing oil on his face, emulsifying it a little bit.

Ye Sui’s movements were very light as she carefully rubbed every part of Chen Shu’s face. She didn’t want such good skin to get worse.

Chen Shu was tall, so he had to bend his face in front of Ye Sui to match her height sitting in a wheelchair.

Ye Sui turned on the tap, and then washed Chen Shu with warm water. She hadn’t helped anyone remove their makeup before and accidentally threw water into Chen Shu’s nose several times, which caused him to cough.

She held a towel with a guilty conscience and gently helped Chen Shu wipe his face with a look of embarrassment. She also softened her voice.

“Chen Shu, are you okay?”

Chen Shu’s eyes were red from the water. He took the towel and wiped his face casually. He didn’t expect that removing makeup would be so painful, and it almost resulted in a bruise.

Chen Shu coughed twice and comforted Ye Sui, “It’s okay, it’s not uncomfortable at all.”

As he wiped his face with the towel, he suddenly realized that it was none other than Ye Sui’s. His discomfort just now was swept away.

The corners of Chen Shu’s mouth even turned up. Ye Sui felt strange, though. Why did Chen Shu’s mood suddenly improve?

“What happened to you?”
