The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1563 - 1563: Relentless Beta Enforcer

Being one of the strongest Alpha Primes around, the truth wasn’t hidden from them.

Unlike most others, these four knew that Prince Leif wasn’t killed by the Angels, the Bloodstone Crater wasn’t destroyed by the Angels, no, they knew that the Royal Black Prince was the one who did that. It was him, not the Angels.

Prince Alaric hid that fact from the masses.

And since Princess Selene was there, she knew the truth and told those who were trustworthy.

Essentially, all of them knew that Rex was stronger than Princess Selene.

Knew that the chances of winning the war were really slim.

Other than Sven or the Princess of Ice and Snow, there’s nobody who could match Rex.

It was their purpose to stall.

Slow down the main army from reaching where Princess Selene was until reinforcement came.

Killing Kyran would be doing the opposite of that.

“I… I got carried away,” The slender Alpha Prime admitted his error. “I meant let’s take him down and capture him. Though it wouldn’t be an ideal situation, if we play it right, we could negotiate—and stall for more time with him as our hostage.”

“Remember that. Don’t kill him,” Another Alpha Prime emphasized.

Just then, the scent of blood travelled through the air.

All four Alpha Primes frowned and soon realized Krynda had already gone on ahead.

He didn’t stop with them, instantly going to Kyran.

“Krynda, he’s gone berserk. Let’s split into two, one pair restrained Krynda while the other Kyran.”

“Quick, he might do something we can’t undo.”

Immediately, the four dashed to where Kyran and Krynda should be.

Upon reaching there, they were surprised when Krynda flew past them and crashed into multiple houses with slashing wounds across his entire body. Since Kyran was already beaten down hard, this was not what the four were expecting.

Roar!

Growl!

Glancing at the commotion, the Alpha Primes saw Kyran attacking a few packs near the walls.

He tore them down with each slash and shoved their severed limbs into his mouth.

None of them were expecting Kyran to crash into a few packs guarding the walls, and with the very rare devouring constitution he has, he could increase his power temporarily through devouring raw flesh and blood.

Normal Werewolves experienced the same effect when devouring in general.

But those who have Kyran’s constitution have an increased effect of empowerment.

It was the Werewolves with this constitution a key piece in a bloodfest war.

Kyran was already halfway through devouring three packs of sixty Werewolves at the seventh and eighth-rank realms. His aura swelled, and the blood he spilled also provided more power since the Blood Moon had taken influence on him.

“Grawrgh! He has the devouring constitution!”

“Stop him!”

In the blink of an eye, two Alpha Primes reached Kyran and tried to pull him away.

One of them got blocked by a sharp icicle that had its tip branched quickly when he leaned away, forcing him to move further backward or confront these branches head-on. He chose the latter, utilizing kingly energy to cloak his claws, and hacked at the branches.

Slash!

Almost instantly, the ice shatters, but the Alpha Prime groans in pain right after.

His claws were throbbing from striking the ice, which caught him off guard.

It wasn’t like this earlier.

On the side, the slender Alpha Prime reached Kyran.

Kyran was opening his maw wider than it should have, on the brink of eating another Werewolf, but the slender Alpha Prime kicked the Werewolf away and swung at Kyran. Clashing earlier with Kyran made him confident that Kyran was going to be thrown away by this.

But shockingly, Kyran caught his hand mid-track.

Naturally, the slender Alpha Prime’s eyes widened completely.

He stared at his hand incredulously, but he realized he hadn’t been careless.

Despite fighting someone who wasn’t a true Alpha, a Werewolf without a King Mark, he still infused his claws with kingly energy. Even then, Kyran’s moonlight energy, a version that should have been far weaker, clashing against it and held its ground.

It fought back the kingly energy into a stalemate.

“How…?”

He murmured in shock.

Kyran, on the other hand, grinned like a wild beast.

Bam!

Viciously, a hard knee landed against the slender Alpha Prime’s stomach, forcing his body to curve and saliva to burst from his mouth. Kyran continued with wild swipes, drawing arcs of blood across his form, before landing a spinning kick that sent him crashing away.

Though he was a Werewolf, he still had a Human influence.

Edward and Rex had taught him about close-quarter combat, and he hadn’t forgotten about it.

Kyran continued his onslaught.

Before the other Alpha Primes could step in, he had already devoured the last Werewolf.

He paused in his spot and tilted his snout upward.

Savoring the flesh and blood with his claws, dripping with blood, facing the sky.

Once the chunk of flesh that was in his throat went down to his stomach, his body pulsed with power.

A gentle crimson breeze brushed against the Alpha Primes.

Menacingly, Kyran tilted his head and turned towards the Alpha Primes—his four ruby eyes were now flickering with a deadly light, one that could even alert the Alpha Primes’ senses. Additionally, he was greeted by a notification panel.

One that he recognized to be similar to the control panel back in the castle.

It was holographic and alerted him to something.

<Beta Enforcer’s title effect is now active again!>

Kyran could feel another surge of power climbing from within.

He didn’t know what this was, but he knew that this must be tied to Rex.

Instead of fretting about it, he took it as a sign of Rex watching from wherever he was right now.

Swoosh!

Like an animal, Kyran went down on all four, which felt a lot more natural now on his Werewolf form, and dashed straight ahead. He swatted the two Alpha Primes that got in his way, pushing them back as he fixated on one figure only.

Krynda, who was recovering from the attack earlier, climbed out of the rubble.

He didn’t even get the time to stand up properly before, out of nowhere, Kyran tackled him.

Both of them rolled across the ground, clawing at each other without even aiming to stop first.

However, unlike before when Krynda had the upper hand with his King Mark ablaze, Kyran was now in full control. He seized Kyrnda by the neck and threw him onto the wall. Before Krynda could react, sharp ice spikes protruded out of the wall and tore into his limbs and torso.

Each one burning with searing heat that scorched him from the inside out.

A heat that would’ve turned him to ash had it not been for his kingly energy circulating inside.

Kyran dashed and tightly gripped his neck again.

“Don’t be afraid, I won’t kill you,” Kyran whispered, though there was no fear on Krynda’s face, only unbridled anger. “I told you, I’d make sure you’re unlucky, and killing you would’ve been too merciful. No. Instead, I smelled your pack members nearby…”

“Grraagh!” Krynda growled as his body beamed with more power.

He used brute force to pull out his right arm.

Then, he grabbed an ice spike, tore it out of him, and thrust it at Kyran’s face.

Splash!

In the nick of time, Kyran was able to tilt his head and avoid being stabbed in his head, but the ice still grazed him and sliced his cheek open. He turned to look at Krynda again, then smiled, which was now a lot wider due to the wound on his cheek.

A menacing, bloody smile that could strike fear into anyone’s heart.

But Krynda wasn’t afraid.

He growled, exposing his fangs, refusing to be dominated by a mere Beta.

A clanging sound of steel suddenly rang, halting Kyran as he was about to unleash a world of pain on the defiant Alpha Prime. He glanced at his hand and saw chains with moon glyphs wrapping around it, and before he knew it, he was yanked away hard.

Kyran crashed on the square, but instantly stood up and looked around alertly.

Reinforcement came for the Alpha Primes.

Two Werewolf Shamans, draped in robes, arrived, and one of them was holding the chains.

On instinct, Kyran tried to pull the Shaman to him, confident that he was a lot stronger.

But an Alpha Prime landed and caught the chains before he could pull the Shaman.

Pssh!

A growl escaped his lips when the chains began to burn and infused invasive moonlight energy into his body. Then, the other Shaman also threw out her chains, binding Kyran’s other hand, and trapped him at the center, pulling from both sides.

Oddly enough, the clanging sound of steel changed into a steady hum.

A sound that drilled into Kyran’s soul.

Roar!!

Kyran unleashed a thunderous roar as he tried to break free, but he couldn’t.

In an instant, the Blood Moon’s crimson hue began to recede—his eyes flickered between red and azure, the shift betraying how his fury was being torn away from him. It was his first time facing a Shaman, and he had neither spell nor ability to resist such power.

Despite that, he still tried.

His dark element enveloped him, forcing him to teleport to the nearest shadow.

But all it amounted to was his body turning black from the dark element, and back to normal again.

Soon, he staggered, vision blurring, retaliation weakening.

For the first time in the battle, he looked… confused.

As the Alpha Primes and Shaman thought they had Kyran under control, the crimson hue came back.

“You think this can tame me?!” He roared.

Kaboom!

Kyran exploded with a torrent of power as the chains binding his right arm snapped, freeing him from the shackle. Quickly, he grabbed the other chains and broke them, allowing his rage to swallow him again, but the Alpha Primes had had enough.

One of them, the slender Alpha Prime, appeared in front of Kyran in the blink of an eye.

“That’s enough, Beta.”

Splash!

One bite, Kyran’s arm was ripped off as if it were nothing.

He hissed in pain, but his regeneration kicked in.

Giving no time for him to react, the slender Alpha Prime charged his claws with kingly energy and ran them across Kyran’s body, leaving behind massive gashes. Under the dense amount of kingly energy, the gashes refused to heal.

Then, another bite clamped down on Kyran’s shoulder.

It drilled kingly energy into him, causing him to lose strength rapidly.

Once the slender Alpha Prime tore off a big chunk of flesh, he swung at Kyran hard.

Crash!!

Kyran was slammed onto the wall, the impact forced blood to burst from his mouth.

Swiftly, the Shamans summoned the chains once more—this time coiling them around Kyran’s entire body, pinning his arms to his sides and leaving him helpless. Then, they drew upon his fury again, this time properly, siphoning the rage that fueled his strength.

No matter how unique and strong Kyran was, he wouldn’t be able to flee from this.

Not when he was wounded and was handled by the Shamans.

“Let’s leave him here.”

“Yes, we need to go back to the walls right now.”

“Krynda, are you alright?”

Dropping from the wall, Krynda groaned, but his eyes were still red.

Immediately, the Alpha Primes restrained him, holding onto his arms as he was still trying to kill Kyran.

“I don’t know what happened, but stop it, Krynda!”

“We’ll handle him later.”

Seeing that Krynda wasn’t snapping from his berserk state, the Alpha Prime with the Honey Moon King Mark channeled his kingly energy and infused it into Krynda’s body. The Honey Moon’s kingly energy has a relaxing property, able to calm any berserk Werewolves.

Just then, a manic laughter seeped into their ears.

All Alpha Primes turned to the side and saw that Kyran was laughing.

He was reverting back to his Human form due to the Shamans, but he was laughing.

And though he was in his Werewolf form, his sinister smile, along with his bloodstained face, somehow made him even scarier. His laughter grew louder by the second, as if he was ridiculing the Alpha Primes despite his situation.

Considering that he was bound, the Alpha Primes shouldn’t be worried.

But all frowned when they noticed one thing.

The crimson glimmer in Kyran’s eyes… It wasn’t fading away.
