The scariest thing in life is your enemy, knowing every move you will make even before you make them.

That is dangerous and horrifying at best. Nobody should know your every move, not even your loved ones.

So, for Klaus to know everything about Hunter and his team is just terrifying. They couldn’t understand how a person could know something so secret about them—it was utterly shocking.

During the battle in Union City against the Alliance, Hunter and his team, who witnessed how Klaus was slaughtering the Alliance, began making their way back home to save their families.

However, on the way, they were stopped by someone who told them there was no use going because, by the time they reached there, Klaus would have long since ended the massacre.

Instead, he offered to elevate them to the ranks of Ascendents and provide them with weapons and skills they could use to kill Klaus later.

It was a sweet offer that anyone would fall for.

All they had to do was swear their loyalty to him. Of course, he proved his capability by showing them something akin to a vision.

The vision showed them standing over Klaus, his mother, women, friends and their loved ones’ dead bodies.

This won them over, and the five accepted his offer, thus beginning their wait for the moment they would be contacted.

Naturally, their announcement that they wouldn’t be looking for trouble with Klaus anymore was just a ploy they came up with to buy time in case Klaus came after them.

They never truly, in their hearts, wanted this to end so simply. They just want the public to know they are now backing out from the fight.

In a way, it was them buying time for themselves until they could stand against him and his pals. Their goal was to stay alive, and they succeeded.

Klaus didn’t come after them.

But never in their wildest dreams did they think he would ever know something this secret—and, in a way, even sow animosity between them.

In truth, Klaus just lied, saying he knew they had a benefactor who was planning on making them powerful enough to go against him.

He said those words merely from the fact that he knew they were still looking for ways to come after him. He expected them to appear during the battles in Union City, but they didn’t.

So he wanted to rattle them a bit. But who would have thought there was some truth in what he had said?

This was the most shocking thing that had ever happened to them.

Klaus, who had succeeded in making them chase their tails, made his way toward a certain pavilion where his friends were seated and discussing something.

“So instead of training, you guys just choose to laze around,” Klaus said, approaching them.

“Klaus!” they shouted.

They all turned toward his direction. “How are you here? You left Ross City less than 4 hours ago. How are you here already?” Lucy asked.

“I flew over,” Klaus replied, taking a seat between Anna and Lily.

“You flew? Sister Ohema’s plane would take 5 hours even if it flew at top speed. Don’t tell me you bought a combat jet,” Lucy asked again, hearing him say he flew over.

They all knew how far Ross City was, so how was it that he was already here?

The only explanation was that he used a combat jet. That was the only way he could move that fast and arrive at the academy in less than 4 hours.

Klaus has always wanted to buy his own jet.

“You don’t get me. I flew using my wings, and it took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to get here,” Klaus said, making the ladies and gentlemen around him look at him weirdly.

“You’re joking, right? Not even a Sovereign can fly that fast. In fact, even a Transcendent would need close to 4 hours to get here. Ross City is far, you know,” Anna said, but Klaus just laughed.

“Kathy can do it in under 2 hours,” he said.

“Yeah, she is an Ascendant, so it’s natural. But you are just a Great Sage,” Nia said

“I am special, I guess.” Klaus smiled, but Klaus chose not to bother explaining anymore.

They will know how fast he can fly when they see it. For now, they can only assume he was messing with them.

Klaus didn’t know how it happened, but after awakening his lightning elements, his speed skyrocketed.

But that wasn’t all; he could now use the Lightning Source diagram to turn the wings solid and even change them.

He learned this from Knox, his second incarnation.

Of course, he only used the solidification abilities of the diagram, but if he were to change the wings into that of a different breed of winged beasts, he would have arrived much faster at the academy.

“So, I was told you ladies are the only ones left in the Yin-Yang Palace,” Klaus asked, changing the topic.

“Yes, the faction leader took them on a mission a few days before we arrived. We wanted to go meet them, but we had to wait for you first,” Lucy replied.

“I see. The Moon Borns will be coming in three days, so relax for now. After they arrive, I will go on a mission. The dean want to give me a special mission before we can go meet the faction.”

“Is it your inner disciple trial?” Anna asked.

“Something like that,” Klaus replied before turning to Lucy. “Were you able to get Mason to join the palace?”

“When I went to see their faction leaders, they didn’t object. Perhaps they are too afraid of you, so they didn’t bat an eye.

Also, Mason just asked whether this was a joke, but after I told him you were the one who asked for him to join us, he said nothing and just accepted the offer.”

“I have a question though. Why add him when you and he were enemies just a while ago?” Hanna asked.

“Call it destiny, but I want him to be on my team.” Klaus didn’t want to dive into things just yet. Right now, his memories are coming back, and he can tell Earth is not as it appears.

So he knew a lot would happen, and some things had already started appearing. So, he can only bring those he once fought with together for what is to come.

What are the odds that the people he had in his past life were all now in the same world as him?

‘I wonder if he can still be that sneaky bastard who never backed down from a fight. Then again, I will have my revenge on him for nearly killing me on his second try.’

Klaus smiled in his head, remembering Mason’s past. Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire

‘I wonder how many sworn brothers I had in my past lives.’

He turned and looked at his male pals. He didn’t need a genius to tell him that he and Kilian had met one another in one of the many lives he had lived.

The reason was that the sword he awakened looked so familiar in a way that he could tell he had wielded that sword before. So if he is now wielding it, then it means they had met before.

“Where is Mason now?” Klaus asked, standing up. He wants to get things done faster before getting into stuff with his ladies.
