The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 751 - 751: Kaden, the 8th Incarnation (3)

Klaus sighed, hearing his words.

“What happened?” Klaus asked.

“You see, the secret we found was one the heavens had prepared for billions of years. It wasn’t even meant to exist.

So we had to destroy it. But destroying it without benefiting isn’t something a paragon does. We are greedy bastards,” Kaden laughed.

“So we destroyed it, and it was Pickle Berry who did.

I never planned to go directly against the heavens, knowing that would mean my death. But I had to do that one day, Pickle Berry would come out whole and much more powerful.

She sacrificed four lives for me. Giving one of mine isn’t something I will complain about. So we attacked, she and I, along with my army, attacked, and for 100 years, we fought and killed millions.

We rose to the heights, and when we saw this weapon they were creating for us, Pickle Berry smiled and bid me farewell.

That was the last time I saw her until I exploded my core, destroying everything, including the Pool of Secrets.”

“Pause right there and answer this question first,” Klaus raised a finger. “I thought we paragons don’t die.”

“Indeed, we only become one with the paragon stars. But I died, and it was the reason you wouldn’t be able to recover my memories,” Kaden laughed, making Klaus raise his brow.

“Don’t worry. I know the memories are a way for you to grow, but I had to die to stop the heavens from creating armies from the secrets collected from Void.

That is not something we can go against. So my death justifies that. However, that also means my memories died with me.”

“Then how come I am talking to you now? You just told me your story, so how is that possible?” The conversation was getting technical, and Klaus could see that.

If his memories were indeed gone for good, then how did he learn about his 8th incarnation?

“All of this is possible because of Pickle Berry. I died, but I wasn’t taken by the heavens. I became one with the paragon stars before exploding my core along with my soul body.

The price was my memories. But in all my life, one person has been with me, and that was Pickle Berry. You are here with me now because of her, and you will always need her if you want to see me.”

“You linked your memories with her, so as she recovered her past, so would you,” Klaus managed to arrive at this deduction.

“It looks like you aren’t stupid. That’s good, and yes, knowing I would die, I entered reincarnation and used my soul body as the channel between the cycle of reincarnation and reality.

It was a dangerous thing to do, but since you are here, it means we succeeded… Yay!”

“This bastard,” Klaus shook his head. “Now, how about you tell me what this Pool of Secrets is and why we nearly died destroying it.”

“Before you know about it, what can you tell me about the Void?” Kaden asked.

“I know the Void is an infinite expanse where nothing is as it appears. Everything is formless, and it doesn’t have a pattern to it. It’s basically nothing.”

“You are right. But your answer is just the bits. You see, the Void is everything. It’s the moon, the sun, the planets, galaxies, universes, and everything. It’s within it we and everything exist.”

Klaus frowns.

“Are you saying the Void is outside of this world like it exists outside of the universe, and that the universe can be found within?”

“Yes. The Void is everything, and it’s within this everything we can find everything. I don’t know if it makes sense,” Kaden asked.

“Somehow…”

“Then let’s not get too deep. There is time for that later. Also, Pickle Berry knows more than I do, so it’s only a matter of time before you get acquainted with the knowledge of the Void.

But it’s everything, and it’s from it that we have creation, which is life, and destruction, which is death. Then we have time, space, light, and everything else.

The laws came from it.

It was from it we have universes, worlds, suns, and moons. It has everything.

Now, something that gave us creation, destruction, the laws, and all others is bound to contain many secrets—secrets like how to comprehend the laws, heaven-shattering techniques, secrets beyond the heavens, and many more.

So imagine the heavens finding a way to capture this secret and using it to create beings that will possess these secrets.

We could not allow that to happen. So Pickle Berry entered to do two things: first, steal as many secrets as she could before entering reincarnation.

Second, it was to ensure they never found a way to create yet another pool after I destroyed it. And we succeeded, for Pickle Berry has been born.

It means she succeeded in destroying the Pool of Secrets.” Kaden smiled.

“Tell me, which incarnation are you?”

“I am the last,” Klaus and Kaden smiled broadly.

“So we succeeded. Pickle Berry succeeded, and even all nine of us succeeded, for your time has come. This is great. This is great, very great.” His laughter was filled with mocking aimed at the heavens.

“We succeeded. This is good.”

“Hello, Mr. I don’t have all day, so can we get moving?” Klaus could tell Kaden was happy, and strangely, he was smiling without even knowing it.

“You should be happy, for this is something you and your allies will need. Pickle Berry is the key to everything that will lead to the Awakening of Your World.”

“How so?”

“It’s because, in your seven incarnations, your world survived, but you didn’t. I am not saying you died. You didn’t die. However, your heart died.

I shouldn’t be telling you this, but you were one messed-up sicko back in your seventh incarnation. It was in that life that we saw what hatred could do to us.

We let our hatred get the best of us, and by the time we recovered, the damage had already been done. So you are here because we wouldn’t want a repeat of that.”
