THE RISE OF THE PERVERT PRIMORDIAL

Nerissa who was basking in the satisfaction that showing off the new level she had reached when being “serious”, to Aster, suddenly frowned, earlier she felt a strong energy reaction coming from Iris’s battlefield, one that equaled hers.

‘I have never felt that kind of energy reaction from her, so she must have used something new, it was to be expected, I couldn’t be the only one to develop a new technique thanks to the reaching the peak of the second level of intent’, she thought while she nodded to herself.

She felt happy as her friend and even happier as her rival, since they now had a pending clash to see who had the best initial improvement, not to mention they had now a goal in common which was to catch up with Aster in terms of intent and that is what caused the excited light that flashed through her eyes a second ago.

And then the reason as to why her pretty eyebrows knitted together, which is the group that was arriving at her destination as of current.

Said group consisted in five people, she easily recognized the two guys leading it as they wore the clothes and badges that proudly identified them as the direct descendants from the Fey family, one had blue hair, glasses and a slender constitution while the other had dark brown hair and brown eyes as well as a bulky body shape.

Naturally they were Wade’s younger brother, the glasses guy from the Ocean Aquamarine family also called Albert and then the bulky guy from the Mountain Amber family whose plans of leaving a good impression on Fawn were thwarted either directly or indirectly by Aster multiple times already, Bradley.

It’s worth mentioning that unlike that time at the auction house, they weren’t simply using the uniforms and badges of their families, but proper armor, which meant that they learnt their lesson after being humiliated back then, or at least that’s what they thought.

Following those two, there was one girl wearing the uniform of the Ocean Aquamarine family, she was also there at the auction, her hair was also blue and she had a badge of the Ocean Aquamarine, but hers had a different design when compared to the one wore by the glasses guy, she was the vice-captain from the latter’s team.

The other two which were guys had the uniform of the Mountain Amber family but they didn’t have the badges that put them at the same level of direct descendants from the Fey, one of them was the vice-captain from the bulky guy’s team and curiously the last one was in Fawn’s team as he belonged to her mother’s branch from the Mountain Amber family and was her vice-captain.

All of them were peak Star Tribulation cultivators as well, but none of that mattered to Nerissa who before the glasses guy could open his mouth, fiercely asked.

“What do you want?”, she was bragging about her improvement in front of her master, rival and friends, especially that monstrous “junior brother” who had teased the hell out of her not too long ago, hence why she was eager for a rematch, and those guys were interrupting her fun, not to mention that the distortion that was assigned to them was about to open, so they were being twice the nuisance.

Naturally such a blunt welcome, caused quite the reaction from the newcomers, Bradley and the other two from the Mountain Amber didn’t seem to particularly care, but the girl from the Ocean Aquamarine immediately went off.

“How dare you, someone who wasn’t accepted even as a part of a distant branch from the family of that master of yours, speaking to direct descendants with such a tone!”, she exclaimed.

An interesting bit of information regarding the Ocean Aquamarine family branch, they take pride in the word “Ocean” within their names and conduct themselves in a manner that resembles it, for example just like the ocean which is vast and usually is connected to countless other bodies of water, unlike other branches from the Fey family the Ocean Aquamarine family often takes in people that doesn’t share an ounce of blood with them.

Which sounds like a good thing until you know the reason behind of it, which is basically bringing water attributed talented girls to become bride candidates for the direct descendants, but that’s not what makes this practice questionable, as this is a common thing within even middle ranked Stellar Systems.

The problem with the Ocean Aquamarine is that they claim to be upright and elegant in contrast to their neighbors, the Drage who are known to be womanizers, as their direct descendants can only have one wife, but behind that premise, each descendant gets to have as many bride candidates as they ask and they have permission to go all the way with them but only those that produce offspring with talent at the level of a direct descendant get to marry and be publicly announced as partners of a direct descendant.

And of course, children with talent equal to that of direct descendants from a main branch of a Ruler level family, are not so easy to come by, so behind one publicly recognized wife from the vast majority of male direct descendants, there are quite a few of failed candidates who are sent to other branches with strength that aligns with the talent showed by the children they had and have to swear to never even mention who they had said child with.

Amusingly enough, this practice was stablished and is encouraged by the ancestor of the Ocean Aquamarine family, who is a woman… though the one in charge of the family is a man and the ancestor’s son, since they don’t have a princess talent at the later parts of the Heavenly realms to act as the Matriarch.

Which might be a major part of the reason behind this, since they also don’t have a princess talent to show for the youngest generation but succeeded in producing one for the young generation, a result of the out of the charts offspring production behind the scenes.

Anyway, leaving the history lesson of this “peculiar” branch of the Fey, aside, the vice-captain from the glasses guy’s team is one of said candidates, which is why she didn’t like the fact that there was interest in Albert’s eyes when he saw Nerissa’s fight earlier.

‘I who received the highest qualifications among the candidates for this guy, lowered myself to the point of coming to deal with trash from a middle ranked Stellar System, so why am I not gaining any points for it!’, she inwardly cursed.

Luckily for her, Albert was also quite angered due to Nerissa’s unwelcoming voice, he is used to water attributed girls to flock around him trying to gain his attention, he just reached the age to start being assigned bride candidates to him, and the first one he chose would have a better treatment whether she became his wife or not, so he was a considered a coveted bachelor.

“I should have expected such ruthlessness given that you travel with that bastard, whatever, let’s go straight to the point, I couldn’t help but get interested in your fighting style since those techniques… resemble some secret techniques from the Ocean Aquamarine family, that should not be known by outsiders”, he said while directly glaring at Nerissa as he added.

“And that being the case, I have the duty to get an answer regarding where did you learn such a thing and if there was someone from the Fey involved as that would be breaking the taboo of leaking the family’s secrets, which would result in a severe punishment, like death penalty for the insider for example”.

Nerissa’s spirit energy which was calm and waveless until a second ago, suddenly became agitated and violent, the glasses guy was actually threatening with having her master and big sister figure, executed.

Seeing the blue haired girl place her hand on the handle of her sword, Albert smirked to his insides.

‘Come on attack me without any provocation, so that I can have you arrested and taken into custody at the Ocean Aquamarine family where that bitch from the Lightning Amethyst can’t cover you’, he thought.

“Hssssss!”, at the observation area a sudden explosion caused by a purple lightning coming out of nowhere, drew everyone’s attention towards a blond-haired girl with purple ayes, bright purple arcs of electricity crackled all over Valentina’s body as she glared at Wade who was standing in front of her with a mocking smile on his face.

“It seems like you forgot… who I am”, she slowly said, as she drew out her sword.

“We representatives from the same family shouldn’t meddle in the matters between “disciples” right?”, said Wade as he answered in kind by taking out his own spirit weapon a whip, he put emphasis in this being a problem between the members of the Fey family, to make sure William couldn’t openly participate in this conflict, since he is a Talis.

The tension in the atmosphere which was palpable, was shattered by a relaxed voice coming from the sky.

“That is quite a serious accusation, one that would result in severe punishment for the accuser and the stupid behind him if they can’t properly sustain it with clear proper evidence”.

The bulky guy Bradley immediately recognized the owner of the voice coming from the sky, as he has been seeing him in the nightmares that have come to him after failing to fulfill the task assigned to him the good way, which forced him to think in “alternative” methods to leave a good impression in the potential new princess.

“This is a matter between the Fey family and an outsider directly related to one of us, so you are not in the position to speak!”, he shouted at the black-haired youth who was descending from high into the sky.

Bradley’s words made Aster laugh as he said.

“To me it looks like a bunch of trash is trying to cause troubles to a friend of mine with baseless accusations, that alone gives me the right to interfere not to mention that…”, Aster’s previously relaxed and calm face turned cold towards the end of his sentence as he added.

“I can do whatever the hell I want and no one in this battlefield can do anything about it, unless they want to die of course”, he said as he glared at the three vices who were thinking on how to block him if needed.

There was no pressure or anything coming from the black-haired youth, in fact none of the nearby people could tell what was his realm, it was as if he wasn’t a cultivator at all, but those words alone were enough to make those three feel a shiver running down their spines.

Naturally such a brazen claim made the bulky guy see red, but before he could demand a duel with the bastard that has been getting on his nerves, his friend, the glasses guy placed his hand on his shoulder.

It’s not like Albert wasn’t angry, in fact he was furious but after being publicly humiliated for the first time in his life, he has learned that there are psychos who don’t care about one’s background.

Which is why even after he reunited with the half heavenly realm protector sent by his family, he didn’t try to get back at the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, however in this battlefield the one who overwhelmed even his brother, couldn’t interfere and he even had a “justification” now, so the ball was in his side of the field this time.

One must understand that direct descendants from first tier or ruler level forces and families aren’t stupid, they tend to lack experience when it comes to the outside world and are arrogant because how easy things come to them due to their backing’s support, however the vast majority will learn and improve after experiencing some setbacks… or at least that’s what Albert thought happened to him.

“That is true, however where is your proof that such was the case here, I could for example casually say that any technique that catches my attention is a secret exclusive of my family that conveniently not even other members from my family seem to know about but that wouldn’t make it true, right?”, he said as he stole a gaze at Albert’s vice-captain.

She committed the mistake of showing awe at the techniques used by Nerissa, which meant that she had never seen something similar, so Albert’s claims of Nerissa having learned secret stuff from the Ocean Aquamarine family lost credibility.

The bride candidate paled upon feeling the discontent coming from Albert, however the glasses guy didn’t show any hesitation as he said.

“It’s normal that let alone Jean, but even the elders that accompanied us could recognize such techniques, since the record that contains them is reserved for princesses from the Aquamarine family, unfortunately for you, the most recent one comes from the cascade branch from the Ocean Aquamarine which is the family of my mother and so me and my brother have not only seen but also learned about these techniques directly from her”.

“Open your lowly bumpkin eyes and try to turn this around…”, added the glasses guy as he unsheathed his sword, his body radiated water spirit energy as he used his Cascade attribute, which is basically water with pressure added to make it fiercer than regular water.

“This is the first of the offense techniques from the “Everchanging Tidal” technique manual, Flood Snake!”, exclaimed Albert as he swung his sword diagonally producing a stream of water that advanced by zig-zagging while following the movements of Albert’s sword.

It made the people at the observation area be reminded of how Nerissa’s ring of water undulated to avoid the fire from the guys of the Redheart family, however this technique looked more intricated given that the giant water snake was quite detailed and quite followed the movements of the user of the technique.

Albert finished the demonstration by having the water snake coil around him before it turned into multiple dots of water that were then dispelled, but that wasn’t the end of it, he stabbed his sword on the ground to then say.

“And this is the first of the defensive techniques, Rising Tidal Barrier”, with his sword as the origin, water emerged at large quantities producing a giant wave of water which then molded into a sphere of water that rotated at high speed around the glasses guy.

Iris’s cousins were livid as they saw the familiar scene of a tsunami acting as a barrier for Albert, which reminded them of the movement used by Nerissa to block the four blazing swords of the team from their family.

“So that’s why they lost so easily, that bitch not only had an amazing defensive treasure, but she was also using the secret techniques of a Fey princess”, they mumbled.

Albert who had broken in sweat released the technique, based on his slightly ragged breath it was obvious that using those techniques was difficult for him, however his triumphant smile was evident as he concluded by saying.

“We at the Ocean Aquamarine are not unreasonable savages, so if you are still not convinced despite the clear similitudes between my demonstration and the techniques used by that blue haired girl, we can organize a fair trial but of course she’ll have to follow us back to the Ocean Aquamarine, either that or you demonstrate right here and now that we are in the wron…”, Albert hadn’t finished his sentence when a golden spirit energy stream traced a beautiful arc in the sky to then form a circle that undulated in many different and strange ways before it turned into countless golden particles.

“That’s called “Flow Stream” and unlike that snake thing which only focuses in flashiness, this techniques gives the attack a completely unpredictable aspect”, Aster then raised his sword into the sky and a wave of golden spirit energy emerged from the ground with him as the center to then expand in every direction, forcing the three vices who were the closer to Nerissa to retreat as if their lives depended on it, because in part that was the case.

Naturally Aster didn’t use annihilation for this mere demonstration, and he doesn’t have a water attribute, but his spirit energy was so condensed that it looked like a golden sea which fiercely manifested out of nowhere.

“And that is “Rising Tsunami” which unlike that defensive technique of yours, creates a wave that can be used for anything, defense, offense or support”, said Aster as he returned his sword to his spatial ring which caused the miniature golden sea of spirit energy to be absorbed back into his body as if time was rewound.

The previous display left an expression of horror in Wade’s face, which only worsened when Aster said.

“And before you try to do something as stupid as accusing me of stealing the “secret techniques of your family”, someone from my group who is present here has the physical manual where these techniques are registered so…”.

“If unless anyone of you is willing to make a soul oath with his life on the line to affirm that my execution of those techniques was inferior to let alone you but even to my friend”.

The faces of the representatives from all the hostile forces soured, they wouldn’t dare to affirm with their lives on the line that Albert and even Nerissa’s techniques were superior when compared to Aster, which is normal.

The inspiration which Nerissa used to create her “Nine Sea Sword” technique series is the manual Seven Swords of Transformation, however she… only has heard about the basics through Aster’s Fey godmother at the few times she had gotten to meet her when the rankings reset.

She actually developed her first three swords based in only that and her insane comprehension as well as talent in the soul path, which also contributed to her getting stuck at the third sword for quite some time.

But let’s leave the giggling black haired dragon mother aside, and focus on Nerissa’s battlefield once again.

“What amuses me the most about this situation is that, unlike that poor imitation of yours, Nerissa’s sword does really resemble the sea, calm and beautiful but fierce and terrifying, clear but mysterious as well”, he said which made a certain dual blue haired girl slightly blush.

Wade on the other hand was red from anger, he knew the truth behind “Everchanging Tidal”, and that is the fact that is an incomplete set of techniques… it was created combining fragments from two different fragments of ancient manuals found by one of their ancestors from the past, something which his brother ignored, since he is not an heir as of current unlike him but an average direct descendant only.

‘Damn it, are the Talis supporting him so much that he could casually teach what should be a peak Immortal rank set of techniques to others so easily!’, he cursed in his heart and as if to “confirm” his suspicions, Aster added.

“Also, I was the one that gifted her that “defensive treasure” which was specifically tailored for her”, he said as he mockingly gazed at Iris’s cousins, whose eyes literally spewed fire, since he was both the reason as to why they couldn’t both directly nor indirectly take Iris back with them.

Seeing that let alone Albert but even Wade didn’t come out to make the soul oath he mentioned, Aster smirked very much to their displease.

“So, now that we have stablished who is in the wrong and who is in the right, let’s discuss how is the renowned Ocean Aquamarine family going to compensate both me and my friend for having wrongly accused us, let’s see how about I take some of you to the Battle Peak for a fair trial”, he said with a mocking voice.
