Alice’s eyes revealed a trace of exotic light upon hearing Xu Mo’s words. Xu Mo stepped back and said to her, “Miss Alice, do you know someone who could help with an introduction?”

“Mr. Sorey must be joking; I can’t reach that level,” Alice replied.

“The place has become a bit noisy. Would Miss Alice be interested in going to my room for a drink?” Xu Mo asked.

Alice looked up at Xu Mo, her smile significant, and said, “Just for a drink?”

“Of course,” Xu Mo nodded.

Alice glanced at Ye Qingdie, who was standing beside Xu Mo, and asked, “Who is this?”

“My maid,” Xu Mo answered.

“Fine,” Alice smiled and nodded. Xu Mo stood up and reached out his hand toward her. Alice’s slender palm rested on Xu Mo’s outstretched hand, and then he pulled her up, using slightly more force than necessary, causing Alice to bump lightly against Xu Mo. He could clearly feel the softness of her body against him.

“Be careful, Miss Alice,” Xu Mo said with a smile. Alice gave him a look and laughed, and they walked side by side. Xu Mo’s hand gently rested on Alice’s waist, which she did not reject.
