Chapter 410: Power Up Up Up
After our mission from God was completed, we returned to the Teleportation Room.
“Right, into the Magic Circle everyone.”
[5a] I made sure everyone was at the centre of the Magic Circle before bringing the Teleportation Stone close to the pillar. After chanting the appropriate words to return to the starting floor, there was that familiar sensation of floating just as a roller coaster was about to dip down... the next second later, we were back at the initial Teleportation Room.
“”Aruji~ the next floor, quickly~ quickly~!””
“Yes, yes, alright,”
[5a] A little bemused, I held the Teleportation Stone to the pillar again and chanted ‘30th Floor’.
The room we arrived in was... a replica of the 20th floor Teleportation Room.
“Right, let’s go,” Fer barked. [5a]
Sui and I jumped onto Fer’s back. Sui bounced onto Fer’s head, ready to attack while Dora-chan flew ahead to scout out the area. As for me, I clung to Fer’s back, doing my best not to fall off as Fer bounded forward at fairly high speed.
“In coming!”
I looked up at Fer’s shout and saw...
“A gigantic eyeball?”
Indeed, the Gazer monster in question was basically a giant eyeball with tentacles. It was kind of disgusting.
Aside from being disgusting looking, its gaze could also cause abnormal effects such as Paralysis or Sleep. Once their target is immobile, it would destroy them with a beam of light.
A cunning and powerful opponent indeed.
Too bad our Blessings meant that abnormal effects don’t affect us.
“”Let’s gooo~! Ei!!””
Pew–!
“Gyaaaaaaa—-”
Sui’s Acid Bullet struck the Gazer dead centre in the eye. It screamed as it melted and collapsed into goo before finally disappearing.
“Woah, it just melted?” [5b]
“It’s a rare monster, but it has a tendency to melt when it dies,” said Fer. [5a]
“”Yeah, they’re that kind of disgusting,”” chimed in Dora-chan.
“”The monster is yucky...Hm?”” Sui hopped off Fer’s head to pick something up from the floor. “”Aruji~ an item!””
I took the Drop item from Sui’s tentacle. It was a green stone of about 3cm in diameter with a smooth surface. The texture reminded me of marble.
“I guess this is jade? According to the map, Gazer Drops include jade, onyx and magic stones.”
Gazers are highly magical creatures. Which meant it has a high Drop probability for magic stones. This made them great sought-after prey, since it was merely a B Rank monster. The jade in my hand is pretty but...
“Well? Shall we explore the whole floor?”
“I’m not interested in weaklings. Especially weaklings that don’t even yield food.”
“”Same.””
“”Sui wants to pew pew everything ~””
There were not a lot of Adventurers on the 30th floor. However, they do exist. It would be bad manners to wipe out these high-yield and ‘weak’ B Rank monsters for their Drops.
“Right, let’s go to the next floor down.”
“Umu, let’s go.”
“”Ou!””
“”Sui, still gets to pew pew all monsters on the way?””
“Yes, yes, Sui can destroy any monster we encounter, unless the monsters are already fighting others. No stealing prey, okay?”
“”Okay~””
With Fer taking the lead, we dashed through the 30th Floor for the 31st floor at the shortest distance possible. On the way, Sui insta-kill all Gazers that got in our way. Since we do not need a lookout, I had Dora-chan collect whatever Drops he could.
When we arrived at the Boss Room, we found no Adventurers waiting, but there were quite a lot of Gazers floating inside.
[5a] “Right,” I said, “strategies?”
“Umu, just let Sui take them all down.”
““Yayy~!!””
Needless to say [5a], the group of wandering Gazers soon turned into a pile of goo... It was a super stunning victory for Sui.
“Excellent job, Sui,” praised Fer.
““Goodness, Sui’s pretty strong. Not as strong as me though, haha!””
“”Sui will work hard~~””
Ah... looks like my precious Sui-tan’s power is going up and up and up ... [5a]
I collected the Gazer Drops with a lot of mixed feelings.

The first monster we encounter after stepping off the stairs onto the 31st Floor was a Stone Golem.
It was instantly killed by Fer’s Claw Slash.
A moderate-sized yellow stone was left behind. When I [Appraised] the oval stone, I found that it was a topaz.
[5a] “I guess these should fetch a decent price?”
“Drops in this dungeon are all shiny stones. How boring... if only they would drop meat.” Fer grumbled.
“Well, we might meet some monsters that Drop edible things on the lower floors,” I said encouragingly.
“I hope so.”
Our conversation was interrupted by a series of hits. It sounded like someone was striking stone with something hard. There was shouting too.
“A battle?” I guessed.
“Umu, sounds like it came from that room over there.”
I peeked into the room, just in time to see a large man swinging his mace against a Stone Golem.
“Die! Die!”
Doom— doom–
Someone else took out the Stone Golem’s knee with an axe. [5a]
“Take that!”
“Rawrrgghh!!”
Dogooon— dogooon–
Two dwarves, both armed with giant war hammers [8] rushed forward. One smashed the Stone Golem’s other leg while the other dwarf leapt into the air and brought his hammer down onto the Stone Golem’s head.
“Ou! A hit! We got an emerald and a magic stone from this one!”
“Nice!”
“I’ll never get tired of this dungeon!”
“Let’s drink once we get out of here!”
Well, those manly looking Adventurers certainly appeared happy.
I quietly left the room. [5]
Looks like this dungeon was popular due to its precious stone and magic stone yields. Also, while the monsters were tough, they could be taken down with physical force, which means parties with limited magical arsenal could also make a profit here.
If I wanted to make money, this floor is definitely a good choice, however...
“Humph, to be so happy after receiving stones from defeating weaklings,” Fer muttered.
“”I guess the weaklings are happy to defeat other weaklings?”” said Dora-chan lazily.
“”Sui wants to defeat more monsters~””
“So, ahem, since you don’t like this floor, shall we go to the Boss Room and move from there?” [5a] I suggested, knowing what the answer would be.
On the way, we passed by a few Adventurers attacking Stone Golems. The preferred strategy appeared to be beating the golems to pieces. Some of the Adventurers were laughing as they collected their loot.
There was no one inside the Boss Room when we arrived, only 10 Stone Golems waiting for us. Sui was about to pew pew the Golems when Fer said, “Try slashing the Stone Golems with your water magic. They are highly resistant to magic, but it’s all a matter of degree.”
“”Okay~~”
Sui formed Water Cutter under Fer’s guidance. When the attack was released, all Stone Golems fell apart at the waist.
“”How is it, Uncle Fer~?””
“Umu, excellent.”
“”Aruji~ did Sui do well?””
“Uh, ah, Sui is amazing as usual.”
“”Yay~!””
Grr, Fer, why are you giving Sui so many combat instructions?
I glared at Fer, but he did not seem to notice it at all, which annoyed me even more.
Grumbling under my breath, I collected the Dropped jewels.

Our group returned to the teleport room where we first teleported on the 20th floor.
“Alright everyone, get on the magic circle”
The teleport stone was brought closer to the centre of the cylinder that rose in the centre of the magic circle. After getting a feeling of something similar to floating, I returned to the initial teleport room of the dungeon.
“”Master, fast, fast!”
“Okay, I’ll do it right away”
While calming Sui down who was in a hurry, I used the teleport stone that got brought closer to the center of the magic circle and chanted “30th floor”. After feeling the same floaty feeling as before, we were teleported to a room that was just as dim as the 20th floor.
