After Dilan made clear that it was very important to protect the flying island, he spend some time talking to the Queen's Image.
He wanted to make sure that the flying island would be in a position where it was the least likely to be hit by astray attacks. At the same time, it was quite important to upgrade the Curtain of Invisibility.
This could be done by using more Essence, which was something the flying island had more than enough of. Every single hunter used between 10% to 30% of their hunted Essence Crystal for the flying island for the last few years.
Everyone knew how important it was to strengthen the flying island as much as possible. That was also why the flying island grew a little in size and why the protection dome was strong enough to protect the flying island from powerful attacks.
Not even a full-power attack of the Essence Angel Queen was enough to even scratch the dome. Everyone was reassured by this even if it was not enough to dispel their fear of the unknown future altogether.
Once his talk with the Queen of Immortality's 341st Image was done, Dilan spent some time taking a look at the list of races who chose to join them.
The list was detailed and it also showed what these races demanded in exchange for their help. It also showed what they would get in the end after they had signed the contract.
Dilan was quite surprised by the results because he could clearly tell that the negotiations had been extremely fierce. Nonetheless, the Undying Group made great gains because they could say that they had dozens of Ancient True Gods on their side, including what they demanded.
Most of the Abandoned Children didn't even demand anything, in the first place. They were satisfied with the opportunity they had been given because it was the first time they could actually fight against the races that had abandoned them without any hesitation.
Under normal means taking revenge was impossible. Most Ancients and Primordials had ties with one another. They would provide the necessary help once an Abandoned Children were to wreak havoc on the country of their trusted allies.
At the same time, it was quite obvious that most Abandoned Children were simply less experienced than their oldest ancestors.
The restrictions they had to face by emerging on Milarn would be the most important mean of support for the Abandoned Children. It might actually be the only opportunity they could get to kill the opponents they hated to the core.
Dilan didn't want to see too many deaths in the rows of the Ancients, Primordials, or any of the Ancient True Gods if he were to be honest.
The reason for this was quite simple as well. Everyone would be needed soon enough, no matter if they were trashy parents or not. As long as one could fight against the Veilures it would be helpful, one way or another.
Dilan didn't know what the future would look like but he could imagine that it was bound to be better with more powerhouse by their side.
However, he didn't intend to intervene in the revenge of any race that had signed a Soul Contract with him. That was one of the conditions they had…that the Undying Group wouldn't intervene in their revenge.
Using this condition to their advantage, the Undying Group didn't have to pay heed to most of the outrageous demands these races had in mind. They couldn't ask for much more than the Abandoned Children because their value in the fight was not even close to being comparable to the dozens of Abandoned Children and the other powerful individuals, who had chosen to join the fights.
Most wanted some territory in Milarn or support in the territory on Milarn as they had already claimed some lands, once everything was over.
They also demanded the use of Gates to move from Milarn to their home, or a place near their home. As if that was not enough, almost everyone wanted the accessibility to one gate of their choice.
The last demands were something that irked the Undying Group the most and the negotiators simply said that they would prioritize them with the others when it came to the distribution of territory and other things once everything was over.
Dilan was the one who would make the final decision once Milarn were to turn into a part of his existence. It was not as if anyone could do whatever they wanted when it came to Dilan and the unknown future.
Not many races were pleased with the final draft of the Soul Contract, but it was the best they could get their hands on.
Thus, instead of getting nothing, they signed the Soul Contracts, after negotiating for several months. It was frustrating but there was not much for most to say.
When Dilan finished reading through the list of races that joined them, Dilan was quite surprised.
"A few hundred races, then the power of the Abandoned Children, the others, and the races they will bring over…that will be a big mess…Will Milarn really survive all of this?" Dilan wondered while he was thinking about something else as well.
The Chaos Obelisks required close to 24 hours to be properly installed. After that, Dilan would have met the requirements of the Mystic Mission's first condition.
After 24 hours, he could bind the sentience of Milarn to his Soul Subspace. What happened afterward was unknown but his Mystic Mission would be completed then.
However, it was unlikely that the battle would end then.
Dilan was pretty sure that the real battle would just start once he got his hands on Milarn. His connection with the sentients of the planet wouldn't be firm yet. At the same time, Dilan would have to rely on the Chaos Obelisks for a little longer to strengthen his connection with the sentience of Milarn faster.
Thus, the war would continue all over the planet, one way or another.
The only difference would be that the Primordials and Ancients would be desperately searching for him. And that was when he and everyone else would openly face the restricted Ancient and Primordials while being restricted at the same time!
