"He is the owner of the largest travel company in Bogor, which will cooperate with our branch company there," said Adley, who seemed to know what Lucas was thinking.

"Oh yeah, I just remembered!" Lucas exclaimed as he remembered the client Adley was referring to. "Even though I really want to meet him, but my condition is still not fully healed, my legs are still a little sore. How could I meet him in this condition." He added regretfully.

The meeting schedule that had been planned long ago, in fact could not be fulfilled just like that. In fact, he really wanted to know the figure of Richard, who was dubbed the biggest businessman in the city of Bogor. A new company that has grown rapidly when it was only established in the last 2 years, has made Lucas interested and challenged to offer a partnership with Richard. However, when the time came, he could not meet the businessman.

"Ah, never mind. Maybe next time you can schedule another meeting with him." Adley suggested.

"I don't want to know, you have to get Mr. Richard to cooperate with us!" Lucas said emphatically. This is no longer a request, but an absolute command for the friend.

"Do you believe me?" asked Adley to be sure.

"Of course."

"Okay. You wait for good news from me. I think he will also regret that he can't be with a famous businessman like you, Lucas," replied Adley while praising his best friend. A wide smile appeared on the face of the man with the undercut styled hair.

"I don't think so."

Lucas turned his gaze back to the car window. Staring at a row of towering trees on each side of the road. Shady. The shady leaves seem to block the sunlight, thus creating a cool atmosphere.

No matter how hard he forgot, in fact Ellena had always been the object of his imagination at this time. Ah, it seems he is not ready to accept this harsh reality, especially when he gets home later, but his wife is not there.

The car continued to drive until now in the middle of the city. Right in front of a skyscraper lined up there, next to the biggest shopping center in the city.

There were a few pedestrians on the sidewalk where the car was passing. Lucas studied everyone there, both sitting and walking. Wish that Ellena was in their midst. nothing. His hopes were dashed when he didn't find the person he was looking for, not even one that looked like Ellena.

"Alex, you can help me." Lucas said as he looked at Alex who was still focused on driving.

"Of course, Sir. How can I help you?" Alex glanced back for a moment, then focused back on the front.

"You just focus on the future. I don't want that accident to happen again!" Lucas asked before deciding to continue what he had said earlier. Considering they are on the way.

"Yes, Sir." Alex immediately nodded and kept his focus on the front.

"Can you go to Ellena's house in Bandung?" Lucas asked hopefully.

"Yes. When should I go there, sir?" replied Alex who never once dared to refuse orders from Lucas.

"Today!" Lucas said without wanting to wait long. "Please make sure that they are not there. If necessary, ask your neighbors or local residents, when was the last time they came back there!" He added emphatically.

"Okay, Sir. After dropping you off, I'll immediately go there," replied Alex agreeing to the boss's request, even though he was actually feeling very tired. Moreover, Bandung is quite far.

"Good! I like the way you work, Alex. Don't worry, I'll give you an extra bonus, especially if you manage to find Ellena. I'll be twice as big a member," Lucas said, which suddenly surprised Alex.

"Thank you, sir. But you don't have to do that." Alex replied.

"You don't have to be clumsy. I'll give a fantastic sum of money to whoever finds my wife!" Lucas said without the slightest hesitation.

"Okay, Sir," Alex whispered, unable to do much if the boss had already decided something.

Meanwhile, Adley only responded with a smile. There is no need to comment on anything that has become his best friend's decision. Just let Lucas do whatever he wants.

"I think you have to work hard to get a fantastic bonus from the boss sitting in the back," whispered Adley as he tilted his head towards Alex and only Alex responded with a smile.

Even so, Lucas could still hear what his best friend was saying. However, he didn't want to say anything. Just leave them as they are, as long as it doesn't bother them.

After a few minutes, Alex's car arrived in front of Lucas' house. Alex immediately stopped his car in a large carport. Meanwhile, there was also Albert's black car which had arrived there first.

"Please, Sir," said Alex as he motioned for Lucas to get out, after opening the car door very wide.

Meanwhile, beside Alex, Joana was standing, about to welcome her employer.

"Welcome back, Sir." She said.

Joana then went to the trunk of the car, after receiving orders from Lucas to bring her things.

"Wait!" Adley seemed to be holding Lucas from moving, as the man was just about to lower one leg. Adley swiftly came out first. Ah, Alex should have opened the door for him first, before opening the door for Lucas.

"Wait! I'll help you," said Adley again as he ran around the back of the car.

Adley seemed to put Lucas' hand on his shoulder, then helped his best friend to get up and walk.

Like Adley, Alex was moved to help his boss. He also put Lucas' other hand on his shoulder. Until now Lucas walked flanked by the two men.

"Lucas, are you able to walk, Dear?" Veronica, who had just left the house, seemed to approach the three men with a worried expression.

The three men's steps stopped when Veronica was standing right in front of them.

"I'm fine, Mom. There's no need to worry about me like that. I'm not a kid anymore!" Lucas snapped. He didn't like his mother's treatment, which he thought was too much. "Besides, I'm being helped by Adley and Alex, so Mommy don't worry. I'll be fine." She added, then stepped back into the house.

"Okay, be careful." Veronica whispered as she looked at the backs of the three men who were walking behind her.

It didn't take long, the middle-aged woman stepped on the floor, following the three men behind.

"Do you want to sit here?" asked Adley as he stopped right in the living room.

"No. I'm just going to my room." Lucas answered, shaking his head.

"OK."

Adley and Alex immediately led Lucas back to walk very slowly towards his room. He turned the knob on the door of the room by Adley and instantly revealed the whole room, as soon as the door was wide open.

Sick. Lucas suddenly held his chest, when Ellena really wasn't there. His eyes suddenly reddened with sadness. Things he shouldn't have shown in front of Adley and Alex. However, he is just an ordinary human being who can also be sad when he feels the loss of someone he loves very much.

The sad gaze spread to several corners of the room. Nothing has changed. Everything is still the same as before. There's just one thing missing from there. He certainly wants every object in his room. Even when something was missing he could tell right away.

Yes, he knows very well the thing that always hangs on the wall of the room to the right. A figure containing a portrait of himself. Why is it suddenly not there? Did Ellena take the thing away? Or Joana who moved to another place?

"Are you okay?"

Lucas gasped when Adley, who had been staring at him, suddenly broke his thoughts.

"Yeah." Lucas replied curtly, then lowered his head for a moment. Just didn't want to show her slightly wet eyes.

Both Adley and Alex had no comment. They walked back into the room and now they were standing right beside the king size bed.

"You can rest here right now." Adley said as he helped Lucas land on the bed.

"Thank you, Adley, Alex, you guys have helped me." Lucas whispered as he looked at Adley and Alex alternately.

"Don't talk like that. Aren't we friends?" replied Adley who only responded with a wide smile by Lucas.

"Sir, I think I have to go now," said Alex which managed to distract Lucas and Adley.

"Yeah, you're right. Go. I'm waiting for good news from you, Alex." Lucas replied, looking at the assistant expectantly.

Without waiting long, Alex immediately left the room. While Adley was still there, sitting opposite Lucas on the edge of the bed.

"What about your investigation? Was there anything suspicious about Michelle at the party?" Lucas asked impatiently wanting to discuss this with Adley all along.

Because it's a secret mission, so he shouldn't carelessly discuss it in front of other people, including Alex.

"In the meantime, I didn't find anything troubling about Michelle. In fact, during the party, she didn't do anything suspicious." Adley replied with a look of uncertainty, as if he was hiding something from Lucas.

"But don't worry, I'm investigating other things regarding Michelle. I'll tell you as soon as possible." Adley added later.

"Thanks."

Meanwhile, outside Lucas' room, right in the living room, Joana seemed to be standing with her eyes wandering in several directions alternately, as if she was looking for a safe situation. After confirming, she then walked slowly towards Lucas' room, intending to give an envelope that Ellena had left for Lucas.

"Joana, wait!"
