Chapter 212 – THINK BY YOURSELF!
Lucas smiled at Ellena's jealous behavior. Didn't think that his wife could be that jealous of him and Lily.
"I said no, Lucas!" Ellena was still trying to deny it. She honestly couldn't believe that she could be that jealous of Grace.
Although she was sure that Lucas didn't like someone easily, the fact that she gave Grace a charming smile really bothered her.
"That's unmistakable, right?" Lucas said teasing Elena. His wife's angry face was very adorable for him.
Getting a scornful look from Ellena made Lucas immediately change his face to a flat expression.
Ellena was very annoyed with Lucas who kept teasing her. Does he not understand that his wife is very embarrassed right now? Well, maybe all men in the world are meant to be insensitive.
"I hate you, Lucas!" Ellena shifted her body away from Lucas.
"I still love you, Elle, even though you hate me. For me you are the only woman I will love in this life," Lucas softly whispered.
Lucas shifted his seat closer to Ellena, hugged the woman's body, then kissed her neck. Instantly Ellena was enjoying the tickling sensation all over her body.
'I won't let you go that easily, Lucas' Ellena thought trying to get her senses back.
"You playboy! You're very good at teasing wa guard rags!" Ellena snorted in annoyance, standing away from her husband.
"That's not bullshit, Honey. Those are all my sincere feelings for you. After all, gossiping about your wife is rewarded." Lucas looks for justifications for his actions.
Ellena scowled in annoyance because what her husband said was the truth.
"Since when did you learn to brag? Was it since Grace worked here?" asked Ellena inquisitively. After all, Lucas wasn't like that.
Lucas ruffled his hair in frustration. "Why go back to Grace again, honey."
"Of course back to Grace, because of her you smiled so happily earlier. Ah, don't forget your compliments on her." Ellena put emphasis on each sentence, so Lucas knew how dangerous it was for a woman to be jealous. So, later she will think a hundred times to praise another woman in front of his wife.
"I told you I complimented it out of awe, Honey." Lucas concluded frustrated.
Don't know what Lucas has to do to make it all over and back to being fine.
"But you complimented in front of me, Lucas!" Ellena still doesn't accept that fact.
"Okay, then what should I do to make you happy, Honey?" Lucas held Ellena's hand hoping she would give him a solution. He would not be able to guess the riddle that irritated him even more.
"Why should I find a way out," protested Ellena displeased. Hope her husband understands even without being told.
"Should I just send Grace to the branch in Africa?" said Lucas originally.
But instead managed to put a smile on Ellena's face.
"Is that really what you want, Honey?" Lucas was happy because it looked like the fighting was coming to an end. However, the smile on Ellena's face faded again.
"Up to you!" replied Elena curtly. She let go of Lucas' grip and turned around in the opposite direction.
Ah, Lucas is really at his wits end this time. If he could choose, he would choose to win a collaboration project with another company rather than having to persuade Ellena who was being jealous like that.
"Okay, I'm going to send all the female employees here to Africa and open jobs for men only." Lucas glanced at Ellena waiting for her reaction.
Ellena laughed at what Lucas said. How could such a thing crossed her husband's mind.
Lucas swiftly hugged Ellena's body from behind.
"I'd do anything to make you happy, h
Honey. Trust me." Lucas kissed Ellena's cheeks gently in turn. "As proof of my seriousness, I will call the head of HRD to issue transfer letters for all female employees." She added earnestly.
A pinch on Lucas' strong arm made him groan.
"You're crazy," Ellena grumbled pouting her lips.
"Yeah, I'm crazy because of you, and only you can make me crazy."
Once again Lucas' swag managed to get a blush on Ellena's face. He wanted to let go of the man's embrace, so that his reddened face could not be seen by Lucas.
However, Lucas immediately tightened his embrace. "Don't dodge, your shy face looks so adorable."
Lucas' words succeeded in making Ellena even more drifting. You can imagine how red her face was now, but she was enjoying the moment of the hug.
The hug that made Lucas' and her heart beat loudly and resonated with each other. In fact, it wasn't just Ellena who was pounding hard when she was around Lucas. It's the other way around.
"I love everything about you, Honey. Even your shy and angry face still looks adorable to me," Lucas praised for the umpteenth time.
"So you like it when I get angry?" concluded Elena with an annoyed face.
"Oh, not again, Honey. That's not what I meant. Pardon my sloppy mouth, hm. Let's make peace, shall we?"
Elena was silent and didn't answer. Well, at least they weren't arguing anymore. Lucas promised to remember this day and remember what made his wife jealous. One day he would never do it again. Kapok.
"Ah, I'm feeling hungry after our long argument, honey. How about you? Is there something you'd like to eat?" Lucas asked Elena. The debate was exhausting and left him feeling hungry.
"I'm hungry too," replied Ellena chuckling holding her stomach.
"Okay, I'll take you to eat some delicious food."
Lucas reached for his coat slung over his oversized chair. Then, walked over to take Elena's hand. The man was very happy to see his wife was smiling again. He briefly kissed her hand just before leaving the room.
A message notification from her cellphone made Ellena release her grip on Lucas. Glance then check the message. Lucas who saw this slowed his steps in rhythm with his wife's steps.
"You're going home, sir," Grace asked as they passed at the elevator doors. "I also happened to want to go home," he added later.
So what if you want to go home too? Did you expect Lucas to offer you a ride? Just dream of you. Elena thought annoyed.
Grace pressed the elevator doors and ushered Lucas into the elevator once the doors opened. While the man waited for his wife to enter first.
There was no chatter between them in the cramped room. Lucas was silent and Ellena was still busy with her cell phone, while Grace probably didn't dare to start a conversation.
Lucas let Ellena walk out of the elevator first, then walked hand in hand with her. Unexpectedly Grace also followed them. Now the three of them were standing side by side waiting for the driver to bring Lucas' car.
"Does your guest need a taxi, sir," Grace asked innocently.
"No. He's coming with me," Lucas answered flatly.
"Very well, then I will excuse you, Sir, Miss." Grace walked over with a frown. I don't know if it's just his feelings or if his boss has turned colder.
Meanwhile in the car Ellena was silent again without saying anything.
"Where are we going to eat, Honey?" Lucas asked softly looking at his wife's face.
"You just eat, I want to go home," replied Ellena curtly.
Lucas rounded in surprise at Ellena's answer. He seemed to be familiar with the atmosphere, just as he had been a moment ago.
"Why, honey? Didn't we agree to eat together before going home?" Lucas asked cautiously. Don't want to say the wrong thing and end up in an argument.
"Not us but you. I didn't say I was going to eat with you." Ellena stared expressionlessly at the street.
"But I asked you to eat, honey."
"I just said I was hungry, didn't say I'd eat with you," Ellena answered without taking her eyes off her.
"What else did I do, honey?" Lucas was sure that his wife was angry right now. I don't know what else he did wrong.
"Think by yourself." curtly Ellena did not intend to tell.
"Nothing occurred to me. Didn't we reconcile and laugh together earlier?" Lucas groaned at his wits. He didn't want to repeat what had happened.
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" said Ellena, looking annoyed at Lucas.
Lucas was really confused now. "On purpose, honey? I really don't understand what you're talking about right now."
"Grace!" Ellena rebuked looking at Lucas in annoyance.
"What? Grace again? Oh, my God, I'm going to transfer that employee tomorrow. She's been pissing me off all day." Lucas complained that he could not accept that he and Ellena would argue again because of his new employee.
"Don't pretend! You didn't introduce me as your wife on purpose, did you? You didn't even deny it when she said I was your guest."
Ellena finally revealed the reason for her annoyance.
"What?" Lucas couldn't understand Ellena.. He just didn't want to talk to Grace much, but that backfired on him.
