Chapter 1903: Changes In The Azure Continent

The encounter with the young man was strange to the group as they did not know him or why he appeared before them. Since he did not seem to want to attack them, then there’s a chance that he might not be an enemy.

“Where do you think that Lewis guy came from?” Klaus mentioned, turning back occasionally to see if they were being followed.

“Most likely from the Aurora Continent.” Alice replied.

The Azure Continent could not produce an expert of such level which meant that whoever this Lewis guy was did not grow up in the Azure Continent. Grey’s father came here to help out with the Gnomes, so it was not out of the question for others to also come here too. What they did not understand was why the man acted in such a mysterious manner.

“There’s no point thinking about it, we should focus on getting to my father.” Grey did not want to concern himself with the issue of the young man. Considering the young man refused to drop more than his name meant that he did not see fit to introduce himself to Grey and his friends, Grey could not be bothered with trying to figure out the identity of someone like that.

He was more interested in the lady that appeared beside the man. Space Elementalists were just too rare, so seeing one interested him. He has not really had the chance to learn a lot about the space element, most of the things he knew about it were from Void, the Bunny Leader, and his own little research. He has only been able to use the space element to attack a few times, using it more as an auxiliary element. Personally, he felt the space element could do much more.

The others noticed Grey was stuck in his thoughts after they met the young man and the lady. They did not bother to disturb him as they continued their journey.

Klaus took the opportunity to tell Luthera about this place and how they reacted the first time Grey brought them here. Grey was the first to leave for the Aurora Continent, and only returned to bring his friends with him.

When he came back, he has already seen people stronger than most of those in the Azure Continent, which changed his view of them. This did not change the fact that their time was by no means easy. They almost lost their lives to multiple attacks from different people, including Gnomes.

Their first encounter with this strange Race was in the Azure Continent, even though there were no Necromancers present here. If not for Chris’s timely arrival during the battle the last time, there was a chance they would have lost their lives during that encounter.

It took the group a few hours to get to the nearest City. Compared to the Aurora Continent, the Azure Continent did not seem to be in dire straits as the people in this City were not even aware of a war happening.

Thinking about it, the Azure Continent did not have the same communication network as the Aurora Continent, so even though a war is taking place here, there are multiple places that would not even hear of it. There were also no teleportation arrays, making traveling harder and more time consuming.

Grey contacted his father with his communication device, and hearing that they were in Red City took him by surprise. Even though he was prepared for the possibility of his parents going there, he was not mentally prepared to go there again. With a sigh, he led the group in the direction of Red City. According to the map they acquired, they would pass through the City where Alice’s Family was located, so they planned to make a stop there so Alice could see her Family once again after so long. Seeing the increase in the world’s essence meant that most of those stuck in the Early stages of the Sage Plane, or stuck at the Peak of the Overlord Plane and had the potential to grow stronger would have all advanced by now.

On the road, they met a few people who made them confirm that the Azure Continent had really seen an improvement in their overall strength. They encountered a few Sages on the way, and even though most of them were not young, it was still a surprising sight to see Sages randomly on the Azure Continent.

Some years ago, Sages were beings seen as Gods in the Azure Continent, but now, one could be seen in almost every City.

The only thing that made the group a little relaxed was the fact that they had not come across any Necromancers or Gnomes’ camps. Even after three days of traveling, they did not find one, which was a positive for them. At least the Azure Continent was not like the Aurora Continent that had multiple links connecting the Gnome World and theirs together.

Grey has always wondered if there is a way to permanently cut off the connections between their world and the Gnome’s World. The only reason the Gnomes were invading was because of these links, as long as the links were cut off, there was no way the Gnomes would be able to come to their World again.

After a few days, they soon got to the City where Alice’s Family was located, and it brought back old memories for everyone present, except Luthera.

Luthera was blown away by the fact that her husband and his friends came from such a Continent. Even with the increased essence, the strongest person in the City where Alice’s Family was located was only a Mid stage Sage. One has to know that even Luthera’s Family that could not even be considered a mid level Family still had multiple Venerables in their ranks, she herself was also a Venerable. From what she learned from Klaus, the essence here used to be very thin, greatly limiting the growth and potential of those born here.
