Drake quickly realized what was happening, the woman alone wasn’t even that strong, but the connection she had established with this Dark Dimension where a strange Decaying Goddess resided was immense, and the more suffering she went through, the more control she gained over this Dimensional Tear, allowing her to pour even more power from within.

It wasn’t her own power though, and she was most likely “borrowing it” from Oda Nobunaga himself, it was quite obvious that the man who had employed an army of Yokai would have access to such a Dimension!

With her scream, however, the Cursed Specters only intensified in power, swarming Drake like an endless ocean of darkness and crimson eyes, trying to drown him within their endless waves.

However, Drake wasn’t alone, Benladann and Miranda rushed forward, cleaving apart the swarm, then came Tisha and Pekora, freezing sword attacks froze the monsters and then piercing wooden spears destroyed them, alongside a gigantic sunflower that shot bright beams of sunlight, burning through the cursed monsters.

At the same time, Larzak and Kraxka moved together, ice, flames, light, and darkness converged as they unleashed their magic and fighting techniques, overwhelming foes with explosions of elements, the armor empowered them immensely, even more after Kate had injected them with nanomachines, giving them even more power beforehand.

Ruby emerged amidst the darkness, turned into a gigantic bat monster, the same creature that Drake had seen before, she now had full control over such a form, as Ruby’s claws tore through the curses while waves of blood energy made them explode by hundreds of thousands at a time.

Rakasha unleashed his flames, ice, and blood together, freezing and then detonating his foes, the Yokai didn’t stand a chance as his overwhelming power continued growing even stronger, now accompanied by Ruby’s mother in her Spiritual Form, he was unstopable.

And while his two sisters were busy keeping Yuki in control, the little Drakda had stepped into the dangerous battlefield, fully transforming into his gigantic three-headed Chaos Dragon form, he easily tore apart everything on his path, manipulating Void, Darkness, Space, Blood, and Chaos, he was a total powerhouse, taking care of almost half of the Yokai on his own berserk rampage.

Drake was strong, he could wipe all of these specters out, but that would only waste time and energy, as more would constantly, endlessly come, which was the witch’s plan all along, to tire him out and eventually do anything she could do destroy his soul through her endless specters, he was sure as hell she wasn’t that big of a threat, but the thing within that dimension sure was.

“Go, Drake!”

“We’ll keep these things occupied!”

“Do what you have to do, Lord Drake!”

“Dadaaaa! Gooooo!”

Therefore, as he heard his family and friends’ cheerful cries, Drake felt happy and relieved he had his friends and family by his side, with a single step forward, he unleashed his full power once more, as he used [Draconic Ascent] appearing right beside the sorceress.

CRAAASH!

His spear pierced through her demonic arm, tearing it apart into countless pieces, her eyes widened, barely turning to his side to see his humanoid form, this entire time he had never transformed into a dragon.

“I’m sorry if it was my blade that took away the man you loved,” Drake said, his eyes full of sincerity. “But you have to know that this isn’t the way to solve things… no matter what you do, and no matter how many you kill, nothing will bring him back to you.”

“Y-You…!” her face distorted into anger as she cried more blood. “I-I KNOW THAT! DIE, YOU MONSTER!!!”

She screamed, the Yokai filled her entire body, as her skin turned deep black like charcoal, and then gained wood-like texture, expanding and exploding into thousands of branches with red leaves and eye-shaped fruits, her female figure barely visible amidst the monstrous tree-like creature.

“GRUOOOOHHHHH!”

“And just like him, you’ve forgotten who you truly were, a human, and embraced this Curse born from the tragic death of a Goddess to turn into a monster… You people of Zipangu are both amazing and… too insensitive, you don’t even know the true origin of the power you wield. The grief of her cries now resonates within you, and yet you embrace her agony and become a monster? You’re all sick.”

“DIIIEEEEEEEEE!”

As Drake finally spoke everything he had on his heart, the monstrous sorceress attacked him as dozens of sharp wooden claws reached him, grabbing him and trying to crush him with all her strength.

And yet…

FLUOOOSH!

White, black, red, and purple ice started to rapidly freeze her wooden claws, and then shatter, breaking her countless branches into pieces within seconds.

Crack, crack…!

CRAAASH!

As her many eyes saw the destruction of her limbs, her eye fruits fired powerful red lasers against Drake, which began to rapidly pierce through his defenses and his armor.

However, this was nothing compared to the deadly power of Pandemonium, let alone Chaos!

“You’re nothing compared to them!”

He roared, as his spear glowed with silver light, exploding into an eruption of power, as he resembled a rising dragon once more, tearing through her wooden body!

CRAAASH!

“G-GAAAHH…! GAAARRRGGH!”

She roared monstrously, trying to catch him once more, only for Drake to use Draconic Descent, piercing her from above and leaving yet another hole, then, he used Draconic Ascent once more, constantly shifting between the two techniques, piercing her body over and over and over again, tearing her body apart, until ultimately…

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

She was torn to shreds… she was completely hopeless, unable to change her destiny nor avenge the man she loved. Her dreams and hopes destroyed as she saw Drake’s eyes filled with pity glancing at her, his draconic claws reaching the depths of her being, as he grabbed whatever remained of her wooden form.

“I pity you… but I cannot let you live. At the very least, I will allow you to pass away peacefully, just like I did with him.”

“W-Wha…?!”

Her eyes widened, as her body was engulfed by purifying light, the darkness of the countless curses she had engulfed burned away at her, she agonized, but slowly, a sensation of relief reached her, slowly, her body turned into ashes, and she saw a bright ray of light appearing from the dark night sky.

“I… I’m passing away…?”
