Epic of Ice Dragon: Reborn As An Ice Dragon With A System
Chapter 2109 - 2109: Cursed Goddess’ Tear—–
Hanna couldn’t believe it, her soul felt light, even after all the curses she had taken, Drake had not let her die agonizingly, nor he shattered her soul or anything of the sort, he didn’t even eat her soul either… he was truly ruthless, yet merciful man.
“This sensation…”
Her soul cried tears of relief, the pain and agony were finally gone, as she looked at the light, and visions of her beloved went through her mind… their relationship never going past small, secret affairs, Katsuie Shibata was a man dedicated to his Title as a General of Nobunaga, and so was she dedicated to him as well.
“Oh, Katsuie Shibata-sama…”
Therefore, they could never announce their love publicly, it was a secret, something they would bring to their graves… and yet, her rage and sorrow after his death brought her here, Nobunaga probably already guessed why she was this way.
“I miss your touch…”
“I miss your kisses…”
“I miss when you told me that… you loved me more than anybody else…”
“Oh my great general… the only thing I miss is your gentle touch and your smile…”
“Will I see you again, somewhere else…?”
Drake glanced as her soul slowly disappeared, feeling terrible deep down. However, he knew that this was inevitable, he couldn’t let her live, she had been corrupted beyond her own humanity, and even if he somehow helped her recover, the sorrow of losing someone she loved would have brought her to kill herself.
This was perhaps… her way of doing that, to let the enemy take her life, or try her best to kill him, perhaps, she was actually fine with either of the two things.
“May you rest in peace, Kimiko Hanna. Perhaps one day you will be given a second chance… Yggdrasil is a wonderful world. I am sure you will have a better life, one day.”
“Is that so… you’re… weird… but… thank… you…”
Her voice fully disappearing, as she hoped to one day find him again, her beloved, and for them to love one another without hiding it from the world, the future she imagined with him, that she dreamed, now nothing but a fleeting dream.
But perhaps, one day, it could become reality…
FLASH!
And yet, as Drake finished everything and saw the specters disappear and the skies clear, he saw a small black and purple crystal floating towards him, barely held in the air by a little, faint golden aura, the small essence of a soul, carrying a little message.
“Oda Nobunaga never cared about us… do whatever you want with this.”
“What?!”
Drake’s eyes widened, feeling the connection between the Dimensional Tear and the crystal he held, which contained immense, corrupted divine power within, both the Curse and also the Essence of Heaven and Earth within it.

[Cursed Goddess’ Tear (??? Grade)]
A strange, alien crystal from another world known as Zipangu.
It is the tear from an Ancient Goddess that died, and whose body became Cursed with her own Grief and Resentment.
Her tears will rarely crystallize into these strange jewels, which connect to the Cursed Dimension where she inhabits, forever enshrouded in her darkness.

As Drake held the crystal, with just a thought, the Dimensional Tear closed instantly, he didn’t have to do anything… he didn’t try trying to open it again, however. He realized the danger of such an object, and quickly decided to store it inside his Inventory, where it would be safely sealed away into a pocket dimension where it would be unable to disturb reality.
“I suppose she gave this to me so I could secure it in a safe place… but that thing is too dangerous, considering that Dimension…” Drake thought. “However, the one that cried this tear… Was it really Amaterasu, Yuki’s previous life?”
As he looked down, he quickly descended and regrouped with his family and friends, finding out Yuki had fallen unconscious, but that she was fine and healthy, her daughters and Andromeda had checked her body and soul, and she was fine.
“Is it finally over?” Benladann sighed. “Let’s go back to bed now, I’m exhausted…”
“Me too, using those armors really put a toll on me,” Miranda groaned. “It’ll take a while to get used to it.”
“Yeah,” Drake nodded. “But they proved to be very strong.”
“Daddy, what happened to that Dimensional Tear?” Benladra asked as they descended back to the city, where the Sergeant and an army of soldiers awaited their arrival. “It closed out of nowhere…?”
“Yeah, it is because of a special crystal I was given,” Drake said. “For now, let’s leave that talk for tomorrow though… but I can say that the crystal itself seems to be a catalyzer to open a small tear through space into that dimension, similar to a key maybe.”
“That’s terrifying, and that woman was given such a thing?!” Tisha asked. “No wonder she almost brought hell to this place…!”
“Tisha, be more mindful of your words,” Pekora reprimanded her.
“It’s fine,” Drake said. “I agree with what she said… this is too much power. It is as if a crystal alone gave someone the power of Pandemonium… although not as near invincible as his own power.”
“We can expect more of those knaves to appear, yes?” Kraxka wondered. “Wielding that accursed crystal… they won’t be an easy foe to defeat.”
“Well, if Lord Drake has the crystal, then that means he could cancel their own, right?” Larzak wondered. “Perhaps it is a good thing he has one.”
“But how did you get it? It would have easily been destroyed from that attack, right?” Ruby asked, already back to her original appearance. “It’s kind of confusing…”
“Yeah, the thing is…” Drake went on to explain to them what he did, as they finally reached the city’s streets.
“Seriously! You’re too kind sometimes, Drake… come on, did you really had to go out of your way for her? She tried to kill all of us…” Miranda complained.
“Daddy is kind… that’s why I love him,” Kate smiled, as she hugged her father, while he carried her on one of his arms. “Never change daddy.”
“Ahahah, I won’t,” Drake laughed, caressing his daughter’s head and kissing her forehead.
