Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2770 - 2770: Hell Warrior sect

Rumor spread that the Crimson Wanderer was willing to fight more than a single person at a time. Should he lose, he would give the Elixir to the sect.

That news alone made everyone start to fight Alex in a group. They worked in a battle array their sect was used to and defeated Alex.

As Alex progressed backward through the strong bases back to the weaker ones, he had yet to win a single time. In the span of a few months, he had given away nearly 50 jars of Elixir.

There hadn’t been a day when he had won.

Everyone imagined he would be mad about it, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Alex was exhilarated. Fighting so many people at once improved his sword by so much. With that many people, he didn’t have to hold back either. It was a fantastic time for him.

In the past year, his Sword Intent had seen terrific improvements, to the point that he was surprised he had even managed to reach this far in just that short a time.

Of course, he was reaching the realm of his regular Intent but with his Sword, which was much easier than just progressing beyond that. But Alex was still happy.

His Sword Intent was now close to the Immortal Spirit realm in terms of strength. With Sword Qi and Sword Aura, he could easily fight someone in the Immortal Spirit realm with his Sword alone.

Somehow, his Qi that had always been ahead of every other aspect of his power was now lagging behind at Immortal Origin 5th realm. Even if he took his Battle Power of 9, which would sometimes be 10 when he used particularly strong techniques, it still only was as strong as Immortal Transcendent 6th realm.

His Spiritual Energy alone was stronger than that at around Immortal Transcendent 9th realm, and that was weakened behind the seal.

Hell had flipped everything on its head for him.

Alex arrived at another sect early in the morning, his red robe billowing in the cool morning wind. Sounds of gorging Northsword filled the day. The river had become larger in the past few months.

There were seasons to Hell too, and it appeared it was summer right now. The mountains in the north were melting much more now than they were before.

The sect Alex arrived at was located by the river, called the Hell Warrior sect. By now, he had stopped being surprised when he came across that word. These people knew what their world was called.

Alex remembered the last time he had come here. The Hell Warrior sect had a battle array that made their enemies less reflexive. It was a weird array that slowed their opponent’s reaction speed, allowing them to get their hits in before he could react in any way.

His mind would receive all the information at a steady rate, but it took nearly twice as long for it to get his body to act accordingly. It forced him to react faster.

He had barely won back then, but it was unsure what would happen today. He had been on a losing streak after all.

A row of elders and disciples of the sect had been waiting for Alex. They knew he was coming. These days, news of his arrival traveled faster than he did.

He stared at the man he fought back then, the grand elder of the sect who used a sword.

“Will you be fighting today as well, Grand Elder?” Alex asked the man.

The Grand Elder brandished his sword. “Me and my fellow sect members will be fighting you today. I hear you are okay with this these days.”

“I don’t mind. I’ve been fighting that way for weeks now. Bring whoever you want.”

Alex pulled out his sword and got ready to fight.

A familiar feeling spread across Alex as his opponents used their array on him. His body reacted half a step after when his mind commanded them. He needed to do everything fast.

‘Even though I’ve already gone through this once before, it’s difficult to get used to it,’ he thought.

The battle started almost immediately with the Grand Elder coming at him first and then the remaining fighters from all around. Their weapons were varied, their fighting styles varied.

But they were well organized, no doubt after training for dozens of years with each other, perhaps even hundreds. Each fighter here was a warrior of incredible battle technique, and so Alex had a hard time keeping up with them all.

His strength allowed him to defend himself, but the lack of reaction speed was far worse than he could’ve ever imagined when so many people came to fight him at the same time.

Alex did his best to continue fighting and training his sword, but in just 15 minutes, the group forced him to surrender.

Alex let out a small smile and shook his head. This was how most of his battles ended these days.

“Thank you for fighting me,” he said and brought out the storage bag with the jar of Elixir within it. He handed it over to the Grand Elder.

The Grand Elder took the storage bag with a nod and looked toward Alex. “You should stay.”

Alex shook his head. “I won’t.”

“I heard something about you,” the man said, causing Alex to turn around.

“About me?” Alex asked with great curiosity. “What is it?”

“They say you’re not from the Endless Night sect.”

“I’ve always said that to everyone who’s asked. If that’s all—”

“You said that, yes,” the Grand Elder continued. “But it took the Night Assembly for us to find out whether that is true or not.”

Alex slowly nodded. “Is that all?”

“I’m getting there,” the Grand Elder said. “Since you’re not from the Endless Night sect, I now question how you are able to gain all those Elixirs. What’s the secret?”

“The secret is mine,” Alex said. “If that’s all, I’ll be leaving.”

“When I said you should stay,” the Grand Elder said, this time pointing his sword back at Alex, “it wasn’t a request.”
