Chapter 2027  Another Hunt.

Even as they watched, the final part of the black hole disappeared into his body. He had fully absorbed the Cosmic source.

This caused his body to explode in size. It looked as if he had been inflated. His power and size shot through the roof immediately. He stopped holding back. He waved his hand and produced millions of streaks of light. Each attack struck a world god. Soon every world god around him died. This finally scared off the world gods. Surely no one will come to fight him anymore, but he doesn’t need them anymore either. That’s why he stopped pretending. While he was appreciating the increase to his strength, he sensed his sister. It took him by surprise, so he frowned. He thought he had made a mistake. He thought to himself, “Could the Cosmic source be so powerful that it can empower me enough to sense her? But if that were so, why is there no information about her in the Cosmic source?”

It was surprising that he could sense her because she was invisible. Not only could he sense her position, but he could also sense that she had become weaker. He almost couldn’t believe it. This matter was so shocking that it made him overlook the information about Legion hunting other world gods.

Instead of worrying about a matter that is far away from him, he decided to deal with the matter close to himself. So he smiled and reached his hand over to her position to grab her. He didn’t mind testing what he sensed since there was nothing to lose. He expected to fail like the many times before, but his hand closed in on her and actually managed to grab her. He was both happy and stunned by the development. He was shocked because he doesn’t think this development is because he has refined the Cosmic Source. After all, he isn’t the one in control of the Cosmic source. It is Monarch High Heaven’s Cosmic source. He is just taking advantage of the situation to use more of his power. Even when he was at full strength in the Cosmos, he couldn’t grab his sister. So he shouldn’t have been able to grab her now since nothing had changed about him. She resisted in his grasp and said, “Let me go.”

He frowned and asked her, “What happened to you? Did you mess with whom must not be named?”

She didn’t reply. She used Transcension Boat again to free herself. A golden film covered her existence, which made her slip out of his grasp. It made him frown harder because not only had he sensed her, he could touch her, and she couldn’t escape from him on her own. She managed to escape from him, but he saw that the power of the consumable had reduced drastically. Anymore and she wouldn’t be able to leave the void universe. There is only one entity he knows that can cause this kind of damage to her and force her to use the Transcension Boat to escape. But ANNHILATION is still trapped. Even though the Absolute is already awake and is speeding up the end of the void universe, it shouldn’t be able to do anything directly to them until the void universe ends permanently. He would be the one to end the void universe permanently. At that time, he would already have what he came here for and can leave peacefully. That was the plan. ANNIHILATION was indeed speeding up the end of the void universe. It is something that it has been doing ever since something woke it up. What it is doing exactly is controlling world enders to go berserk. It is using them to cause a lot of chaos and create chaos blood. They are destroying realm trees and attacking anyone randomly. Their actions are causing entropy to increase rapidly throughout the void universe. This way, the void universe will have to end early to discard the accumulated chaos. ANNHILATION can do this despite being incapacitated because the lord of Madness is dead. Without the lord of Madness, the Supreme Law of Madness has become the Supreme Law of Chaos. The Supreme law of Madness was used to help demons evolve just like the Supreme law of order helped those on the path of perfection evolve. But the Supreme Law of Madness is no more. This allowed ANNHILATION to take control of it by comprehending it. Taking control of the Supreme law of chaos was easy for ANNIHILATION to do since it was its Cosmic energy that was being used to create demons in the first place. The void universe calls it Chaos blood, but it belongs to ANNIHILATION now. The symptoms of the takeover of the path of demons don’t appear until a demon god has to meet the controller of Chaos to become a world ender. It was at that point that they started becoming mad.
