INFINITE RANGE: THE SNIPER MAGE

Chapter 294 294: Titan's Magic Eye

“He’s finished! With the double penalty for red names, he’ll never rise again!” Pokpung sneered.

Jungle Maniac: “So this is the number one player in the world? His intelligence is unparalleled.”

Click…

The bronze wheel slowly came to a stop, inevitably landing on the “Death” space.

Usher and Snow Dream exchanged a surprised glance, both a little stunned. There was no unexpected twist; everything went exactly as they had expected.

“Ah? Why did it stop on me? Does this The divine item belong to me now?” Naoko said, looking completely shocked as the needle landed on one of the five “Death” symbols she had placed.

“This… do you still want it?” Naoko’s face stiffened.

“Do you think so?” Orson looked at Naoko indifferently.

Her heart raced. She was caught in a dilemma. A The divine item like this was worth a fortune, especially something that even the world’s top players wanted. She didn’t know its full properties yet, but she knew that even if it was useless to her, many wealthy players would pay handsomely for it.

Naoko knew, from what Orson had inadvertently revealed, how important this item was to him. She could choose to keep the item for herself, but the consequences would be facing the relentless pursuit of the Godslayer Guild. Naoko was currently in Baiguo City, and Orson could find her anytime, making it a tough decision.

“Invincibility skill disabled!”

“You’ve been erased by the Ancestor Vilitian Devourer Beast!”

A black beam shot out from the Titan statue, and Orson, looking upward, faced it with determination. Without any chance for a twist, he became the first player in Infinite Dimensions to shed his blood.

Boom!

Everyone jumped in shock as a variety of dazzling lights shot into the sky from where Orson’s body had exploded. Heavenly Fire Set, Archmage’s Necklace, and other high-tier mage equipment… Simultaneously, hundreds of purple and gold pieces of equipment, as well as books for skills ranging from C-level to A-level, appeared!

Pokpung: “My God… Did he just open a treasure vault? How does he have so many high-level items?!”

Jungle Maniac: “Damn, we can’t move. Whoever grabs these items will become the number one player in Infinite Dimensions!”

Davis: “This statue… these potions… they’re all divine items! My God!”

Everyone was going crazy. Even though they knew Orson was the first red-name player in Infinite Dimensions, the items he dropped were too shocking!

Pokpung slammed his golden gauntlets against the barrier, trying to charge forward and grab the loot, but received the feedback that the barrier was invincible.

No one could leave their designated areas.

“I smell a big battle coming. It looks like this is why we’ve gathered here.” Poison King Sinternan chuckled, and everyone cooled down slightly. Now, no one cared about what the wishing pool would provide. The divine vault was right in front of them!

Once this dungeon finished, a bloody fight for Orson’s drops would definitely ensue!

Soon after, the Titan’s Magic Eye surged out of the wishing pool, and its radiant light instantly illuminated a large part of the dark space.

[Titan’s Magic Eye]

Quality: The divine item

Description: Contains the overwhelming magical power source of the Titan race.

Main material for crafting magical armor, weapons, and jewelry.

Can be used for special purposes, such as: directly improving the Beast Tamer class, obtaining clues for high-difficulty Titan dungeons, or acquiring blueprints for Forbidden Magic-tier sets.

Naoko gasped as she held the Titan’s Magic Eye. Its value was unimaginable, with so many overpowered effects.

Davis: “I’ll buy it for 1 million gold!”

Before Naoko could collect her thoughts, someone immediately placed a bid.

Thunder God Kalrien, who had remained silent up to this point, glared with his eyes and said in a low voice: “1.5 million gold.”

Usher calmly looked around at the others and said nonchalantly: “2 million gold.”

Kalrien sat firmly on the chessboard, with lightning flickering around him. He didn’t raise his voice, but his aura was intimidating: “3 million.”

“3.1 million.”

Usher gave him a disdainful look, then turned to Naoko and said, “If you’re worried about being retaliated against by Orson, I can protect you both in the real world and in Infinite Dimensions.”

Naoko’s words faltered as she couldn’t find the right thing to say. Usher’s offer was indeed the most tempting. With the strength of Dragon’s Kiss Guild in the Dark Dragon Empire and the influence of the DK Group in the real world, protecting someone was not a problem.

Snow Dream: “Naoko, please make the right decision. Orson is finished. After the dungeon ends, he will never be a threat again.”

Naoko looked at Snow Dream expressionlessly. Her mind was in a complete mess. She hadn’t expected things to escalate like this. Once again, she was faced with the choice of betrayal. But was it really the right decision?

“You might be mistaken.” Naoko smiled slyly.

She had gotten too complacent when her invincible Sorcerer character had been taken down so easily. This had made her more cautious. Perhaps she just needed a little more patience.

Also, from her private conversations with Charles and Lauren, she knew one thing for sure—Orson was not as simple as he appeared. To players, high-level equipment, jewelry, and divine items were indeed important, but to Naoko, they were secondary.

What truly made Orson terrifying were his gameplay skills, his way of thinking, and his Soul Seal. Even if he fell today, no one could guarantee that he wouldn’t rise again.

“I’m different from you, Snow Dream. How could I betray the one I love?” Naoko cooed flirtatiously, showing a foolish expression. “I’m going to buy a house in Baiguo City. If he doesn’t marry me, then I’ll marry him.”

Just as the atmosphere turned uncertain, a playful voice interrupted: “Stop it. You have no idea how deep the real estate market in US first-tier cities is.”

“This… how is this possible!” Pokpung screamed in terror.

Orson, whose body had been reduced to a pile of blood, was now standing up again, fully restored.

Though his level had dropped by 40, he had resurrected. This scene was chilling to everyone!

“Now I get it! The divine item Rootless Water… this is his trump card!” Snow Dream stuttered as she saw the properties of the divine potions on the ground.

Orson smiled lightly. Having Naoko cast the Titan’s Curse on him wasn’t because he wanted to die, but because he was worried about triggering the Titan Eye’s 60% instant death rate, which would cause the divine item to be confiscated by the wishing pool.

In Orson’s calculations, even if the Titan’s Eye wasn’t obtained by Naoko and fell into the hands of another player, he still had a way to reclaim it after the dungeon ended.

Davis: “The rules clearly state that resurrection is impossible! This guy is definitely cheating!” Enjoy exclusive content from My Virtual Library Empire

Pokpung: “Typical US players, huh? No surprise that they’re the most disgusting player base!”

Madman: “Damn, Infinite Dimensions’ official staff should be thrown into the jungle to be fed to mermaids! How are they letting this blatant cheating go unpunished?”

Orson sneered and muttered, “Bunch of idiots.”

He then began collecting the scattered items he had dropped.

“Stupid, don’t play if you can’t even understand the game’s mechanics. If I was cheating, I wouldn’t have lost 40 levels,” Orson shrugged.

“You tell me, after you were killed, how are you still in the dungeon?” someone yelled in frustration.

Only Usher and a few others were serious, noticing something amiss.

“The rules say priests can’t use resurrection skills, but it doesn’t say they can’t use divine resurrection potions,” Snow Dream explained. “The penalty is just a level drop, but it doesn’t say you’ll be automatically removed from the dungeon. Players can choose whether to return to the fountain to respawn.”

“Can I have the item now?” Orson smiled, looking at Naoko.

“Of course. You’re the best, Orson-kun!” Naoko smiled sweetly and traded the Titan’s Magic Eye to Orson.

Orson nodded in satisfaction. The crazy woman had a mental issue, but her intelligence was on point. She had clearly seen that he had the ability to resurrect and had purposely made that over-the-top declaration of loyalty to hide her true intentions.

“He has so many resurrection items, doesn’t that mean he can revive again in the next round?” Pokpung gritted his teeth, asking Snow Dream.

Snow Dream: “The cooldown on divine items is generally long, so he won’t be able to revive again.”

Orson sighed as he listened to Snow Dream’s explanation. He realized that he had taught this woman too much. Now, she seemed more like a ticking time bomb. Snow Dream had once remained low-profile in the SSR Guild because she was suppressed by Wedge. But now, the cage had broken…
