MY CELESTIAL ASCENSION

Chapter 700 - 700: Raw Power

Darlene and her five subordinates swallowed nervously as they saw the cold, murderous look on Yuan’s face. His intent to kill them was unmistakable, making their entire bodies tremble in fear.

“D-Don’t think a bluff like that will work on us! I’m the Fifth Commander of the Golden Skull Organization! I’ve never been defeated!” Darlene shouted, her voice laced with rage as she glared at Yuan with disdain.

“You may be the Fifth Commander of the Golden Skull Organization… but to me, you’re just a lowly bitch, itching to get killed by me.” Yuan grinned viciously, his grip tightening around his sword, ready to strike.

‘He isn’t joking… He’s really going to kill us. We have to hit him with our strongest magic attack before he can make a move.’

Darlene felt her legs trembling under Yuan’s overwhelming presence. His cold, bone-chilling gaze lingered on her, making her heart pound in her chest.

Suddenly, the air inside the stadium grew colder, and Darlene’s magic power erupted, sending shockwaves throughout the arena.

“Dark Lightning—Dark Maiden’s Judgment!”

With a furious, determined look, Darlene summoned her dark lightning, enveloping her entire body in crackling energy. Gasps of shock echoed through the stadium as her transformation took shape.

The lightning solidified into battle armor—sleek, menacing, and exuding an aura of pure destruction. The armor covered her entire body, including her face, making her appear both formidable and terrifying. Even her long hair transformed into dark lightning, generating sparks as it swayed in the wind.

She looked like a goddess of destruction. The very ground beneath her feet turned into molten lava, the intense heat from her lightning melting it like metal.

‘So she can surround herself with lightning magic, turning it into armor that boosts her attack power while also providing solid protection… Quite impressive, I must admit,’ Yuan thought, his lips curling into a wide grin.

But no matter what she did, there was no way she could match him. In both speed and fighting power, he wouldn’t lose to a lowly mortal relying on a clever trick like this.

“Get ready! When I attack, follow up with me. There’s no way he can fight all of us at once!” Darlene commanded her subordinates before dashing toward Yuan, leaving a trail of lightning in her wake.

Her subordinates immediately followed, brandishing their daggers as they launched a flurry of deadly attacks, trying to slash at Yuan from multiple directions.

“There’s no way you can survive this, you hear me?!” Darlene roared as her hands transformed into sharp claws, and she lunged at him with terrifying speed.

“Do your best. Otherwise, you won’t even know how you died.” Yuan smirked, gripping his sword with one hand as he stood proudly, watching Darlene and her subordinates charge toward him at incredible speed.

Zap! Zap! Swish!

Yuan effortlessly dodged Darlene’s lightning-fast attack, their eyes meeting for a split second. The unexpected evasion shocked Darlene, causing her to lose balance.

Bang!

Her body slammed hard against the stone wall of the stadium, shaking the entire structure with the impact. Gasps erupted from the audience, stunned by the sheer force of the collision.

Even her subordinates were momentarily frozen in shock. Realizing this could be their only chance, they immediately resumed their assault, launching a barrage of attacks at Yuan while he supposedly wasn’t looking.

Unfortunately for them, Yuan was using his Divine Sense, making him aware of everything happening—not just inside the stadium but far beyond the city’s borders.

Without even glancing their way, he effortlessly evaded their attacks. The way he moved—calm, precise, almost casual—left them dumbfounded.

“Damn it! How the hell is he dodging our attacks without even looking?!”

“Does he have eyes in the back of his head or something?!”

Frustration filled their voices as they realized none of their attacks were landing. To Yuan, it was as if they were moving in slow motion.

Meanwhile, Darlene pushed herself up, standing tall once more. Thanks to her Lightning Armor, not a single scratch marred her body.

“Damn that bastard… He was just too fast. He caught me off guard,” she muttered, her fists clenching in frustration. “This is humiliating.”

She narrowed her eyes at Yuan, steeling herself for another attempt.

Yuan was too strong. He dodged their attacks as if it were child’s play—a mere warm-up. Standard attacks wouldn’t work on him; he had already proven that much with his absurd skill.

“I need a strategy… an attack plan that ensures his downfall. One swift, precise strike to end him. Otherwise…”

Her expression hardened as she stared at Yuan. Her jaw clenched, frustration boiling inside her as she struggled to find a way to land a critical hit.

“There’s no way I’m going to die here… I will return alive—and I will take the Purple Poison Blade with me.”

Darlene’s body crackled with an immense surge of lightning, flooding the area around her with raw energy as she prepared to unleash her most powerful and lethal attack on Yuan.

Slash!

Suddenly, the sharp sound of a blade cutting through flesh echoed through the stadium.

Her eyes shot open in disbelief as she looked up—only to witness a gruesome sight.

Two of her subordinates had been cleaved in half by Yuan’s sword. Blood and entrails splattered across the ground, painting it a bright, sickening red.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!”

A thunderous, chilling laughter erupted across the stadium, sending shivers down the spines of everyone who heard it. For a brief moment, it felt as if their hearts had stopped beating.

“Is that all you’ve got? Pathetic… You weaklings should’ve stayed home instead of coming here just to die.” Yuan sneered, his expression filled with disdain.

Without hesitation, he swung his sword again.

Slash!

Before they could even react, another one of Darlene’s subordinates fell. Yuan’s blade, enveloped in Sword Qi, cut through the masked individual with terrifying ease, splitting him cleanly in two.

Thud!

A second later, the two halves of the masked man’s body hit the ground, motionless.

The stadium fell into stunned silence.

“Did… did he just kill three of them that easily?”

“That was… unreal! I couldn’t even see him move before the first two were sliced apart!”

“So this is the power of the legendary leader of the Celestial Blades… He’s beyond anything we imagined!”

“And the third one… he was dead before he even knew what happened!”

The crowd erupted into murmurs of disbelief. Though they had heard countless rumors about Yuan’s strength, witnessing it firsthand was an entirely different experience. He wasn’t just strong—he was terrifying.

Meanwhile, inside VIP Room Number 1, Anna Grace watched the massacre unfold with an amused smile, casually sipping from her teacup.

“The Golden Skull Organization… They’ve got some nerve, trying to vandalize the auction again.” Her voice carried an arrogant, almost lazy tone, yet it was filled with unmistakable pride. “But their biggest mistake was dragging my beloved son into this.”

“Indeed,” Vanessa nodded with a knowing smile as she sat beside Anna Grace. “And now, they’re paying the price for underestimating Little Husband. This will be a devastating loss for them.”

“That’s what I love about Yuan,” Valeria added with a sadistic grin.

“He doesn’t show mercy to his enemies—man or woman, it doesn’t matter. He makes them pay for crossing him.” She chuckled darkly. “At this point, I almost feel sorry for Darlene. She really pissed him off with that idiotic offer.”

“I wanted to burn her to ashes for looking down on Yuan,” Fang Xiaoyan said, her voice calm and composed. Her beauty remained as radiant as ever, unaffected by the chaos unfolding before them. “But since he’s handling her himself, I didn’t interfere.”

At the same time, inside VIP Room Number 9, Aisha and Jones stared at the scene in utter disbelief.

They couldn’t believe their eyes—Yuan was toying with the members of the Golden Skull Organization as if they were mere playthings.

“I… I can’t believe what I’m seeing… The Young Master… he’s toying with them?” Jones mumbled, his voice laced with shock. “This is unreal…”

“I’m surprised too,” Aisha admitted, her soft smile barely hiding her astonishment. “I never knew he was this unbelievably strong—especially without even a single trace of mana in his body. It should be impossible… Yet, he’s defying logic.”

“I’LL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU’VE DONE, YOU DAMN BASTARD!”

Darlene’s enraged scream echoed across the stadium as she lost all composure.

Her body erupted with uncontrollable lightning, surging wildly in every direction. Sparks danced across her armor, and the sheer force of her roar sent powerful shockwaves through the air, rattling the entire stadium.

“Oh?” Yuan’s lips curled into a mocking smirk. “You think you can kill me? How amusing…”

His voice was colder than ice itself as he firmly gripped his sword, his gaze locked onto her like a predator toying with its prey.

Bang!

Darlene kicked off the ground with immense force, the impact cracking the stone beneath her. She shot into the sky like a bolt of lightning, her Lightning Armor crackling loudly, illuminating the battlefield with blinding flashes of energy.

Thunderclap!

Electricity roared through the air as she soared toward Yuan at terrifying speed, her entire body radiating with destructive power.

Darlene unleashed tens of thousands of Lightning Spears at Yuan, each one crackling with deadly energy, aiming to pierce his body and turn him into a living pincushion.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

However, Yuan moved with blinding speed, weaving effortlessly across the stadium, dodging every single spear with precision. Not a single bolt managed to touch him.

‘She’s completely lost control… The deaths of her subordinates must have sent her into a frenzy,’ Yuan mused as he effortlessly evaded her attacks.

‘I’ll break her first—shatter her arrogance before ending her life. She needs a reality check.’

With that thought, Yuan stored his sword inside his System Storage and clenched his fists. He had decided to finish her off without his weapon, relying solely on his raw physical strength—to prove just how untouchable he truly was.

In the blink of an eye, Yuan’s figure vanished.

Darlene’s relentless attack halted as she froze in place, her eyes darting around in confusion.

‘Where is he?!’

Before she could even react, he reappeared—just inches away from her.

Her breath caught in her throat.

‘When did he get so close?! And where the hell did his sword go?!’

Before she could even process what was happening, Yuan’s fist rocketed toward her face.

Bang!

The impact sent Darlene hurtling toward the ground like a meteor.

BOOOOM!

A massive crater erupted beneath her as her body slammed violently into the arena floor, shaking the entire stadium. The sheer force of the impact sent dust and debris flying into the air, leaving the crowd in stunned silence.

As the dust settled, gasps filled the arena.

Darlene’s Lightning Armor had completely shattered, exposing her disfigured, bloodied face—a sight that sent chills down everyone’s spine. Blood pooled around her broken body.

She wasn’t moving.

She wasn’t breathing.

Her heart had stopped.

Yuan scratched his head, staring at her lifeless form with mild confusion.

“Did I… hit her too hard?” he muttered.
