Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 705 - 705: Making Friends [Bonus]

If it weren’t for the precarious situation the three Half-Elves found themselves in, their answer to Kent’s question would have been, “Are you kidding us? We fucking need saving right now.”

But they don’t have that luxury, considering the monsters around them could move at any moment if they talked. And while it sounded like a person’s voice, they didn’t know if their ears were playing tricks on them.

So while Kent’s voice did little to cheer them on, it wasn’t until they saw him walking toward the scorpion as if it were some bug that they knew it wasn’t that their ears were deceiving them, someone actually asked the question.

When they saw how Kent was strolling toward the scorpion, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a few grapes, they were both shocked.

However, they knew they had to seek help first…

“Please save us, and we will give you all we have,” Arion spoke in a desperate tone. However, the next second, Helyra shouted, “Watch out!”

The spider stabbed its leg at Arion’s head. It was a quick and decisive strike, one aimed to kill just when hope seemed to be around the corner.

All three Half-Elves closed their eyes, not wanting to see one of them die, and the other not wanting to see the pain in the eyes of his friends as he passed.

However, after three seconds, when none had died, they slowly opened their eyes only to see three dead beasts, killed with a thick black spear.

The spear was about 5 meters tall and 13 inches thick.

It was the updated version of the Doom Shard. It was still a Mythic-grade skill, but Kent had upgraded the rank from SSS to SSS+.

This gave it a new name: Doom Spear.

Kent was bored as he made his way out of the Valley, so he decided to use his millions of skill upgrade points to upgrade that skill. He never knew it would become this deadly.

The three Half-Elves had to look at the bodies of the three beasts for a few minutes before they managed to register that they were dead.

They then turned, looking at Kent with wide eyes. The brat, of course, smiled… “You can call me Kent… Kent Madson.”

The Half-Elves were so shocked that they didn’t know what to say. Eventually, they managed to calm down. Arion walked toward Kent, and when he was a few steps away, his eyes landed on Kent’s ear, causing him to stop.

“You are a human,” Arion said, prompting his friends to stare at Kent’s ear.

“Yes. I am a human from the human continent. Nice meeting you.” The three Half-Elves were taken aback, but then they recovered. They are Half-Elves, meaning they are half-human, half-Elf.

In a way, they are just hybrid humans. So, it wasn’t too hard to accept the fact that a human being was standing before them.

“Nice meeting you, too. I am Arion, this is Cyrus, and Helyra.” Arion shook Kent’s hand.

“Thank you for saving us,” Arion said, and his friends nodded. They were truly grateful.

“Please, if you don’t take your flame spirits, they will disappear.” Arion turned toward the spirit flames that appeared on all three beasts. If he had the means, he would have grabbed it, but he had to give it to the owner.

After all, Kent killed the three Beasts.

Kent turned and looked at the spirit flames. After a quick scan, a sigh escaped his lips. “You guys can have the ones on the spider and ant… I will take the scorpion.”

“WHAT?”

“Are you sure?” Arion and his friends asked in shocked tones.

“Yeah. I only need this one.” Kent walked toward the scorpion’s body, leaving the three friends to stare at his back with expressions of shock.

Even tears began to fall from Helyra’s eyes when she saw that Kent didn’t want the two flames, meaning they were now theirs to have.

Her tears flowed freely.

This was because one spirit flame, regardless of its grade, sells for millions of spirit stones… and to people like them, a million spirit stones is something they could only dream of.

They were just a team of three who wanted to make a living for themselves and their families. So far, they had only managed to get a flame core from a Root Sovereign beast and three beast bodies, which they planned to sell for a couple of thousand spirit stones.

But now, they were not only getting two spirit flames—something they had never obtained before—but they would also be walking home with two heaven-grade spirit flames. That was worth several million spirit stones.

“What are you three doing? If you don’t take the flames, they will vanish.” Kent’s voice snapped them out of their dazed state.

He was indeed aware of spirit flames, but the two wouldn’t have much effect on his Chaos flame.

When his soul flame reached Tier 6, he sensed that the flame yearned for something stronger. The two flames on the spider and ant ranked 10,008 and 10,809 on the Beast Flame Chart.

Those were just too weak for him, so he might as well give them to the Half-Elves. They clearly needed them more than he did.

The three nodded and retrieved the spirit flames, their expressions shocked yet happy.

“How about the bodies?” Arion asked.

“If they have a core, then I want that, but aside from that, you can have the bodies too.” Now that his ladies were fighting real beasts in the dungeon, he didn’t need weaker bodies like these to create undead.

“You can have this.” Helyra quickly removed the core and handed it to Kent, who received it with a happy expression. The more cores he absorbed, the stronger his flame resistance grew. Additionally, he began to sense that his control over the flame had reached a new level.

This meant his alchemy skills would rise much higher the next time he sat down to concoct pills. So he received the core and absorbed it.

“Please, where are you going?” Cyrus asked.

“Elarion,” Kent answered, and from the look on the faces of the three Half-Elves he had saved, he saw what they wanted to say.

“We are going back now, so if you don’t mind, you can go with us,” Arion said, and Kent nodded.

“That would be great.” The three Half-Elves smiled and stored away the beast bodies. Kent smiled, watching their happy expressions.

‘If I had known, I would have taken the bodies of all the beasts I killed, but it was already too late now.’
