SUMMONERS WAR: ONLY I SUMMONED DIVINE BEASTS
Chapter 684 - 684: A Sudden Interference“Do you think you can kill me easily?” Ricky shouted after slashing Flora’s lightning.
As Anubis said, Flora might be stronger, but they still had to be careful when fighting Ricky.
He was strong enough to crush her ability. If they gave him one opportunity, they might get seriously injured. In addition, it wasn’t like they could take their time either, fully aware that this battle had already caused too much ruckus. If the enemies noticed it and sent reinforcements, they would be in trouble.
Nathan was the first one to make the next move. He created two cubes and split them into smaller cubes.
“!!!” Ricky knew what those bullets were capable of. There was no way he would allow Nathan to send forth those bullets. In fact, Ricky realized Nathan wasn’t aware of his attack’s main weakness.
The moment he used both hands to form his bullets, it also meant he wouldn’t have enough ena to conjure a shield.
If he were to be attacked during that short period, there was no way Nathan could protect himself.
That was why Ricky didn’t hesitate to wave his blade toward Nathan, releasing a crescent-shaped attack.
Unfortunately for him, Nathan obviously knew about this weakness the whole time. Normally, he would be going back to gain some distance while shooting the bullet. However, there was no need to do it against this person.
Nathan sent forth his bullets toward Ricky while letting his attack reach him.
“!!!” Flora panicked, not knowing what Nathan planned to do.
Nathan’s bullets surrounded Ricky from all directions, meaning that she couldn’t or more like shouldn’t attack yet.

‘Mutual destruction?’ Ricky looked around and charged forth, using his shield to block as many bullets as possible.
Meanwhile, Nathan leaped into the air to avoid the attack. Even Ricky expected Nathan to have the physical strength required to dodge that attack.
But he didn’t expect Nathan to choose the most foolish one. He even moved forward in order to approach Nathan while blocking his bullets, believing Nathan would go back. At the very least, he wanted to keep his distance or close their distance. But by jumping into the air, Nathan shouldn’t be able to avoid his attack anymore.
Ricky squinted his eyes. In this scenario, there was one most optimal solution, but it required a certain sacrifice from him.
‘Left leg…’ Ricky muttered inwardly. He abruptly stopped. If he used a shield to block the attack behind him, he should be able to escape unscathed, but so should Nathan.
On the other hand, if he used a portion of his ena to release a sword attack, Nathan could block it. Hence, he had to sacrifice his defense to launch an attack. Considering the bullets’ movement, he should be able to avoid them with his physical strength alone. Or at the very least, let them focus on one part of his body.
With that decision, Ricky halted his step and concentrated his ena on his blade.
“!!!” Nathan moved as he predicted. Nathan put his hand in front, creating a shield to protect himself.
In fact, a portion of his bullets had disappeared in order to give Nathan enough control to create that shield. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t be able to block this attack.
Ricky waved his blade upward, sending forth the same attack but with more ena.
“Watch out!” Flora panicked. Even she realized that if Nathan blocked this attack, the sword attack would simply cut his body along with the shield. On the other hand, Nathan shouldn’t be able to move after jumping into the air.
Ricky grinned. Although he couldn’t see Nathan’s end because he had to look at the incoming bullets, he was satisfied, knowing Nathan would die after that attack.
All he needed to do was throw himself at the last moment, albeit his left leg was a tad too late as a result.
The bullets rained down on him, hitting only his legs.
“Kh.” Ricky gritted his teeth, enduring the pain. As long as Nathan died, there was nothing that could stop him from running away. Flora might be able to chase him, but his next target would be the building. By creating the ruckus, he could disappear from Flora’s sight before either escaping or waiting for reinforcement.
Sadly for him, the moment he raised his head, he saw Nathan completely alright. In fact, he somehow moved to the side, avoiding the blade entirely.
Even Flora dropped her jaw.
Nathan continued kicking the air, letting his body remain above the ground as though nothing happened. The moment their gazes met each other, Nathan just smiled.
“!!!” Ricky didn’t take this into account. No, who would have thought that a master like Nathan could actually move in the air? It didn’t even seem he had a wind element.
It was because of this lack of information that he didn’t expect Nathan would survive that attack. No, more like Nathan baited him to think that way in order to hit his leg instead of both of them escaping unscathed.
He perfectly understood that the more he wasted time, the more disadvantageous Ricky’s position was.
“You…bastard…” Ricky looked frustrated. Without his left leg, there was no way he could take on these two.
In fact, Nathan had summoned another cube, ready to take him down. Flora, although surprised, released her own ena. She was prepared to electrocute him or even deliver a killing blow.
Nathan grinned and waved his hand, sending forth his bullets.
Unexpectedly, before he could even send those bullets, both of them sensed a huge amount of ena coming toward them.
“!!!” Flora shuddered while Nathan raised his head.
“Yaaaahhh!” A high-pitched voice echoed in the sky as the tall wall that blocked the enemy’s escape route suddenly shattered because of a kick.
The kick continued toward Nathan. Nathan instinctively used his other hand to form a shield. Luckily, the force behind that kick had been reduced significantly because of the wall. Even then, it cracked Nathan’s shield in an instant before shattering it as the kick continued and blowing Nathan to the building several meters away.
