The dragon's harem

Stella and Bella woke up later on the couch in their home. While Bella looked around with a worried face, Stella just curled back into a ball and went back to sleep.

“Wait! This is our house!” Stella cried and jumped away from the couch, quickly pulling her bat and taking a stance, ready to smack anything that moves. She then felt something move behind her back and instantly spun with a deadly swing.

A large hand caught her bat and cracked it. She gasped and barely dodged a straight punch. “Wait! You’re back!” It was her father standing there. “How many times I’ve told you, no weapons inside the house? Last time, you broke a whole wall.”

He approached a chair and dropped on it, “I expect more from talented alteration battle wizards. Aren’t you two supposed to be able to keep things from getting destroyed?”

She paused for a second, “Who’s fault do you think it is? We’ve never got deployed, thanks to you.” She turned around and slapped her sister awake, “How long are you going to sleep? Dad is here. That Arad Emperor must be dead.”

Stella opened her eyes and yawned, looking at her sister with a sleepy face. “Really? We’ve missed our only chance.” She didn’t sound that regretful, just sleepy.

Ward looked at them with a tired face and then looked to the side, where Arad was sitting just outside the sister’s field of vision. “Those two are a problem.”

It was just then that the two sisters noticed Arad, which terrified them enough that Stella wasn’t sleepy anymore. Arad was both massive and imposing, and for him to be able to sneak past them was both terrifying and appalling.

“You’re still here?!” Stella cried, pointing at Arad while her sister took a careful step back.

“Listen, your mother told me you attacked him. You two know nothing of the monster you lifted your hands on. But to be fair, even I fought him and didn’t know.” He sighed, and the two sisters looked at him with passive faces.

“Guess where we did get that temper.” Bella sighed, and Stella shrugged, “Probably should control yourself before trying to control us.”

Their father rubbed his face, “Kali, the demon goddess of destruction. She is his wife, and he can blast this whole continent with a single punch if he wants.”

The two sisters went silent for a second and then burst laughing. “Did he punch you so hard that you learned how to joke?” Bella rolled on the ground.

Stella, on the other hand, looked a bit scared, “Mom! Mom! Where are Father’s meds? He’s going insane.”

Arad and Ward stared at each other as the two sisters panicked for a few seconds before they calmed down. While Ward only looked exhausted, Arad was visibly confused.

Looking at the two sisters, he could never understand what the two were thinking about. Their actions didn’t make any sense, albeit their not believing that Arad married a goddess of destruction is understandable.

Ward looked at Arad, “As you can see. If I don’t keep those two locked up, they’ll even put succubus to shame. It’s not common, but Cupids are known for being more active than other half-angels, and those two are just too eccentric to let loose without a proper leash.”

Their mother approached with a large tray of sweets, which Stella almost immediately stole several pieces from.

“To be blunt, if we let them out, they’ll whore themselves to death. But it’s just a phase. Once they grow a bit older, they’ll calm down. I was once like them, and I was lucky to meet Ward.” She smiled, “But I can’t say he was as lucky to meet me.”

Ward glared at her for a second and then sighed, “Don’t say that. It’s in the past now. The point is that those two shouldn’t be allowed to roam free.” He then turned toward Arad, “If you want them to work as ambassadors, you should at least get someone to keep an eye on them.”

“How bad can it get?” Arad tilted his head, and Ward stood, headed to cabinets at the wall of the living room, and pulled some old papers.

“Take a look at this.”

Arad gave the paper a quick read, and his eyes opened wide. It was a report of a disaster from five years ago. A Cupid woman killed over three hundred men in a single week before falling and turning into a succubus.

Reading that, Arad remembered Lala, who is a succubus and wants to turn into a cupid by abstaining from all sexual activities.

“I know a succubus who is doing the opposite of turning into a cupid. But isn’t that a choice?” Arad looked at Ward, and the man shook his head.

“To succubus, it’s a choice. They must resist their urges with their own will. But Cupids are already angels, so to them, it’s a trial to see if they are worthy of their birthright.”

Arad scratched the back of his head, “So you’re helping them get through that phase without turning into succubi. Letting them go with me now means that I’ll have to keep an eye on them.” He looked at the sisters, “What do you two think?”

“Does it really matter? I doubt going on once or twice will cause us to fall.” Bella shrugged, and Stella looked at him, “If it’s just with one person, we should be fine.”

Their mother sighed, “That’s what you don’t understand. The moment you start, you won’t be able to stop. It is like a snowball. The moment it starts tumbling down, you’ll never be able to stop it.”

Arad sighed, “I’ll call the expert then. Give me a moment.” He closed his eyes and extended his arms forward. After a few long seconds of nothing, dark mist rushed from his fingers and swarmed outward, swirling around as a tall nun with pink hair emerged out of the mist.

Arad slowly lowered his hands, “This is Lala, a succubus nun.” He then turned back to Lala, “Those are the two girls I told you about.”

Lala smiled, “At least they are just half-angels, not real Cupids.” She shrugged and looked at Arad, “As they don’t go crazy, they won’t fall. The Cupids are about love, while succubus are about pleasure.”

“Point is?” Arad tilted his head.

“As long as it’s one man, they should be fine. But that man would die if he didn’t have enough stamina to keep up with them.” She approached Arad and sat on his lap, “Or I can find them a medicine to calm them down.”
