The dragon's harem

Chapter 1394 - 1394: War Angels Vs Nuclear Vampires

Arad jumped at Alexander, swinging the nipple knife at full force with blinding speed. Behind him, the incarnation lifted the staff and cast a wall of gravity to pin the god down.

Alexander threw his hand upward and grabbed Arad’s arm by the wrist, making sure to keep the knife away from him. Using that, he tried to counterattack, but the gravity field slowed him enough for Arad to dodge and swing a kick, followed by a knife stab that was evaded at the last moment.

Arad understood two things.

Normal spells won’t damage Alexander, so he should focus on support spells.

Alexander won’t let him hit him with the nipple knife. That’s why the nipple knife job isn’t to damage or kill Alexander, but to create openings for Arad to pummel him with his fist.

Arad flew around Alexander, throwing punches and stabs like there was no tomorrow, and Alexander dodged all of the stabs and blocked the punches, keeping up with Arad’s harrowing speed.

[Time Slow: 99%] Arad’s incarnation waved the staff down, and Arad turned into a blur, leaving after-images as he ran around Alexander and swung the nipple knife down at his back.

Before the knife could hit, Alexander’s body also turned into a blur as he moved sideways, leaving only an after-image where he stood. His body shifted, and he blocked Arad’s stab as the two of them flew through the burning battlefield, ripping apart.

It didn’t matter if Arad slowed time to move faster. Alexander could do the same thing, and he was now matching Arad once again, no, he was slowly getting faster and faster.

Arad’s incarnation growled and then swung the staff sideways, using it as a medium to release the pull of the black hole in his stomach, and forced Alexander to take a step back. At that moment, Arad’s fist, which was already moving, got faster and hit the god in the chest, exploding into a nuclear blast.

The blast was powerful enough to rip a hundred-kilometer area from the ground and fling it into the sky, leaving a burning crater. Alexander flew back and landed on a mountain almost five hundred kilometers away, his armor dented as much as a thumb.

“So you can punch harder.” He smiled and lifted his hand. But then Arad showed by his side, having already teleported there with [Void Step]

“I can punch even harder!” His fist was already overcharged with five times the power and ready to blow the god’s back to bits.

But then a hand emerged from Alexander’s shadow and grabbed Arad by the face and pushed him back.

Arad punched the hand into pieces and landed on his feet. As he looked, he saw an armored angel glaring at him as she stood behind Alexander’s back.

The angel’s arm healed instantly in a spark of radiance, and she conjured a sword of divine light. Without saying a word, she jumped at Arad, swinging that blinding sword down.

From Arad’s shadow, an armored arm flew out and grabbed the angel by the face, stopping her in her tracks. The fully armored vampire growled, her voice booming from the vision of her helmet, “Divine slave! You dare set your hand on our blood lord?”

The angel emotionlessly moved, stabbing the vampire in the chest through the pieces of her armor. But the vampire, at the same time, pulled the angel closer and bit her neck.

After a second of silence, the two kicked each other back and landed beside their lords.

Thousands of heavily armored vampires spawned behind Arad and marched forward, waving their flags and swords. The rumble of their footsteps shook the earth, cracking its crust.

Alexander smiled as thousands of angels emerged from divine light behind him, all ready to spill blood and revel in war beneath the god’s blessing.

“Vampires can never hope to match angels. Ten of mine can slay a hundred of yours.” Alexander looked at Arad with a grin, and Arad returned the evil smile. “Oh really, said the corrupt god who is barely managing to feed those angels with any divine magic.”

Arad pointed at Alexander’s army, “Angels would follow their god to death, so don’t show them any mercy. They’ve already picked their side, and they picked wrong.”

The two armies clashed, ripping the ground apart and setting the world ablaze. The angel’s smites and divine blasts illuminated the sky, but it was as blinding as the vampires using Arad’s nuclear blasts to counter them.

At the start, the angels seemed to have an overwhelming advantage, but that only lasted until the vampire dragons inside Arad showed up and started blasting everything with fire. Soon, the darkness consumed the blinding battlefield, and some angels found themselves drowning in it.

Some angels went mad, and the other fell to their knees, screaming in agony and pain.

Pain, Darkness, and Madness have emerged from Arad’s stomach to assist the vampires in the fight, and all hell broke loose. The two armies’ clash was harrowing, but the fight between their generals was even more terrifying.

Both the angels and the vampires had to fight carefully and avoid where Arad and Alexander were clashing by at least several tens of kilometers to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.

One of the vampires looked back, seeing a mountain disappear in the blink of an eye, consumed by the harrowing radiance of her lord’s nuclear devastation. The fight raging there wasn’t something that she could interfere with; all she could do was keep the angels at bay.

Speaking of angels, the vampires seem to have underestimated the angels’ power and speed. The vampire paladin could barely see them moving, and each hit was powerful enough to rip her armor open, but to her, wounds weren’t a problem as long as she could sink her teeth into their angel’s not-so-soft flesh.

Right now, besides a few powerful vampire paladins who could face the angels one-on-one, the rest had to face them at least two to one to have a chance.

The vampires quickly noticed a few things.

First, the angels weren’t corrupted like Alexander by the abominations; they were as pure and divine as they were before, only weakened by their god’s fall from grace. Yet, they still fight by his side.

That was the angel’s main problem: their blind loyalty. They don’t care about the other gods or the well-being of the universe; all they care about is serving their god. They understand well that supporting their god is wrong, but they’d rather die fighting by his side.

Zia appeared standing behind all of the vampires, holding her hands together with a large grin on her face. “They can be saved, they can be kept alive if we kill their god first.” She looked at them with glowing red eyes.

“But we won’t, kill them, rip them all to pieces, limb by limb, it’s a massacre. Offer their screams, offer their cries of pain to your lady of purple.” She jumped into the chaos, “Grant them their wish!”
